I agree with you Ink that he would obviously get re-signed to partner Luai in the halves in 2025 IF he plays a major part in us winning plenty of games in 2024.
I don’t think he has what it takes at NRL level at this stage of his career, but he has certainly been a better than average NRL player for the major part of his career and I will be pleasantly surprised if he can recapture his form from when he was playing with the Raiders.

Yeah, he probaly hs the odds against him but thats the beauty of sport, the unknown factor, the player surprising everyone out of the blue, the massive upset results, its what kees us all coming back

I hope hes succesful, it seems some people want some players to fail so their preference will be playing in the team, thats not really the best for the team.
All firing on all cylinders asap if achievable

Right with you Innsaneink...

The excitement over players that haven't played 1 round of first grade is silly. Sure have some optimism, but it's like a farmer who plants a few Bulbs in the ground.
Some will grow
Some will fizzle

Till I see some onfield performance at First grade, ill curb my enthusasm thanks.

I agree, and that was my point. When it comes to leading as a half you can’t be shy. Bert’s best years were at centre not 5/8, I see Lachlan in a similar mould. He needs to add 5-7kg of muscle and improve his kicking game, but I’m sure he will be a devastating centre in the next few years.

And who knows, maybe our future 5/8.

Was it Moneghetti? That did a run from Homebush to the city timed alongside a city rail train to show how slow the trains were?
