Six Million Dollar Man

Luai is our player from next year. Why are we comparing him to Brooks? Brooks is gone. Is it so people can theorise that Brooks might have played well in our team and Luai is wasted money?

Here's the truth. Brooks has always been the same player. He's also had chances at 5/8. He never performed consistently for us. It's unlikely we would have got the same performances out of him as Manly have done for 1 round.

Why is this an issue?

We've got bigger problems in our team than a 3 time premiership winning half joining us in 2025.

You started the thread. You're entitled to. It just confuses me. You could say bewildered, befuddled or even baffled. Apologies. Forgive me.

I don't think I even quoted your post, so I'm sorry if you thought I was talking directly to you. Sometimes it's not all about Halbrowne61...although it could be. But it wasn't. Again, forgive me.

How many times Brooks' little fan club can decide he had a good game?
If we look at the weekend in Vegas he did nothing for 75 minutes, made a few errors, basically played his usual game and the praise gushed through the internet.
There was a period in the 2nd half that I had to check on NRL.com to see if he was actually still on the field.
Luai's on a different level .
It's tiresome to read.
 
Sometimes the problems we complain about, others
wish they had. Too many things can go wrong this
year 2 even make me think of Luai & next year haha
 
If a team scores zero points, that suggests that both halves were off their game.

Although only one was coming back from a heavy injury lay-off soooooo...

Because people have always bagged Brooks incessantly and blamed him for the Tigers losing record.

Scored the try that sealed the match and came within a bees dick of scoring another. If you can’t see how dangerous he will be when he’s not a marked man at Manly then I guess you’ll just have to wait and find out. 1-0.

C'mon man.
When you have to make shit up you know you're cooked.
You can always tell when someone knows very little about the game when they judge performance on whether someone scored a try or not? It's how little kids view the game.
I'll save you the trouble of making up fantasy scores. Brooks wins 26-0 . Yay!

Of course he will go well there.
He has great players who will do all the hard work for him, meaning he only has to run the ball.
He is not required to play any football other than catch and run….and the odd tackle

It’s a team sport. Very few one man teams have ever done well. Why should we have expected that of LB?
