Agree but he’s gonna be too big to be a 7… he’ll prob wear the 6 and luai the 7 tho… or another option is play him at first receiver like a 13 but don’t have him defend in the middle…

But yes you’re right galvin plays like a 7… he wants the ball in his hand every play which so great.

He’s like a Mitchel moses combined with Munster and Cleary and Wighton.

They sound extend him now for another two years in top of his current 3 yr deal on the basis that we top him up for the next 3 years… give him an incentive to extend

Why not swap them next week and see how that pans out, we’ve gotta experiment as we have nothing to lose. And Haynes is a key player, maybe put Galvin on him ?
Other alternative is Bud to bench/Reggie’s and Sezer starts.

After 1 game yes.
If he clicks into gear he can play footy but at his age paying on potential no one will do unless they are desperate.

Don’t know what happened to him against the Raiders he was beyond bad, nearly the worst game by a player have seen - says alot for us as we have seen a few.

You'd think that coming to a new club, with his NRL career on the line, that he'd fire up. Sure, he has a 4 year deal, but realistically we have Luai coming next year and there is only one spot available in the halves for him and two others. At this stage, he's the odd man out. The odd man out won't survive beyond 2025.

Yesterday was pretty pathetic from him if I'm being honest. His tackling style looked like that of a guy who had barely played the game and was scared of getting hurt. I don't know what happened in the last 3-4 years but he's not the same player he was. No wonder the Dragons were happy to let him go.

Is it a result of that he’s always had a bunch of great kids outside him making him look good?? Hope not

Panned out much like expected. Not overly outraged by anything I saw. I look at how our squad reads on paper compared to every opposition and can't see one team ATM that is weaker.
Was pleased with Galvin.
Expect Benji will be target number one within a couple more games because based on the performance of the the lower grades he has got jack to promote when fans start questioning selections.

Benji was upset that we were putting in kicks that weren't practiced at training.

Yeah that sounded very Sheens like didn’t it. I’ve heard Benji say that about Sheensy before that they could do whatever they wanted in a game so long as it was practiced.

I agree it’s one game

But it’s those reasons the dragons let him go so it’s not like this was a one off

We bought him hoping he would change it we could get more out of him

Sometimes when you buy a lemon it stays like a lemon… actually more often than not

BUT.

You need to set standards quickly. It's not a termination sentence. But he needs to earn that jumper. He was given first shot. I expect Sezar gets the next.

I think this is the best play.

Bud seems very arrogant, undeservedly.
Another lower grade legend who thinks he's something special.

Our future needs to be focused on the likes of Latu, Galvin and TDS (post Api)...
Sullivan doesn't make the cut.

I hope we can trade him on for a centre or something when a team gets desperate for a half (hopefully this day comes)
