I think we have wasted $1.2m per year on Luai.
As long as we don’t lose galvin bc of it.

But I don’t think we will

I think luai will help attract players

Luai will be a waste of latu is as good as galvin lol

Bc I don’t think luai playing that good this year right? I haven’t watched much of him

Galvin will likely transition into a lock I think. Yeo/Murray style. Fainu will be a star, maybe transition as the bench hooker/14 utility. Not sure whether he’s a true 7 or 6 yet, seems to have the skills for either. Never really rated Sullivan.

1. Bula
6. Fainu
7. Luai
9. Api
13. Galvin

Yeo and Murray could not be more different in style....

Incredible team performance tonight.
Great debut Olam. We bought a bit of class there.
Bula coming along beautifully.
Tupou was strong.
Stef terrific.
Sezer was composed.
Even Twal and Seyfarth were good!

But Api, wow, he is simply next level.
Those extra efforts, plus the special plays, lifts the whole team.
If he can remain consistent this year, he is squarely in the conversation of the best players WT have ever recruited.

Very excited watching the development of the young guys- Galvin, Fataape, Fainu, Pole.

I hadn't thought Fataape would be the starting centre this year, but game 1 to game 2 there's the little improvements you look for- involvement, minimizing errors etc. His defence is immediately an improvement on To'a. I'd be very reluctant leaving him out now.

Galvin looks every bit a 1st grade player. I thoroughly expect him to transition into the forwards, but I think he's an edge player. He might be Bateman's eventual replacement as the 'ball playing forward'.

The club will find a way to have Latu Fainu & Luai in the team along with Galvin.
