Unpopular opinion, but I wouldn't be touching lomax. We don't want someone who isn't team focused. With this release, it sounds like it's all about him.

That's exactly why he would be a perfect fit for Parra. They are a team full of only individual focused players.

Imo a kicker of his calibre is worth an extra 100k a year. Probably the reason his last contract was so high

Lot of people making a lot of calls after four rounds of football. Would imagine the people who count would not be thinking any further than round 5. The halves situation will be sorted when it needs to be sorted and that’s not now.

Like everything in the NRL things can change in a flash, but Sullivan will not be moved on anytime soon. We have a 34 year old 7, a kid playing 6 and Latu Fainu with hammy issues and yet to play NRL. We need quality depth and Sullivan provides that. 2025 is light years away

I can see him ending up there, and from what i read that Kid is a longterm fullback once gutho goes, so perhaps lomax would be an upgrade on simonsson

Klem was great against Parra, NAS hasn't even been fit enough for nsw cup yet this season. He came back from off season at like 125kgs, will be interesting to see how he goes against the magpies

No way I would do that swap , NAS is a flog , unfit , lazy , and looking to go to union , Klemmer has been solid for us , yes we could do with a big bopper but Klemmer is keeper

We have a lot of money available in key positions moving forward . I know Jahrome is on 1.2 , but we arnt paying our fullback a mil or close to it , we arnt paying our dummy half a mil , even though he’s the best in the game , and we definitely arnt paying our 6 a mil . You could say Sullivan is on 200k too much , but yea , I’d say that would be close to what a Kurt Mann type utility would be getting . So whilst it is overs , for that particular roster spot , I don’t thinks it’s extreme overs .
Bateman is on a wicket at 650k , so is ice , but once again it’s not 1mil , like Fifita or, lol ,900k Schuster .
Stef will get a bump soon , and , Klem might need a renegotiation, or maybe we just ride it out . Pole is locked up , which would be under his true value .
We definitely need a forward to step into that 5/6 prop position currently occupied by no one . Hopefully Sione Fainu can lift to that , which will then take a lot of pressure off the need to go to market . I think Tui Loso looks like there’s something there as well in KOE cup. At least as much as Asitasi James .
Jordan Miller needs to lift . He’s 19th man for flegg side , with an nrl contract . It shows the huge disparity between his viewed potential to his current output .
With Tupou off the market , Turuva would be my number 1 target. And if Lomax was willing to drop to 650k , I would be looking real hard at him as well .
I like Staines . He’s safe as houses , tackles well , finishes well ,and is fast . If not trusting his speed at the moment due to coming back from a big injury .
As a former forward , I find Tupous obligatory 1-2 mistakes a game infuriating , and his inconsistency around yardage and the intangibles to not be what a premiership team should want from thier wingers . So if we are smart I can see the big kiwi pushing up , or a Turuva type being a smart acquisition.
I’m assuming with the lack of name nrl players in our depth chart for edge back rowers , that Sukkar must be highly rated . You could say that is a weakness , but the more footy he , Tumeth , AJ get in KOE cup , even Kit for lock , the less pressure there is on blooming them if needed .
Also AD is a centre/ back rower moving forward whether he likes it or not . So when he comes back , if he can find some form , I can see that right centre spot being his position as well.
There’s a lot to play out , without even entering the market .

Not in a pink fit. Klem puts in week after week punching well above his weight. He has been punted by so many clubs. He deserves respect for the starch he has put in the tigers as much as api has spark.

NAS is just a fat bully who can't turn up at an acceptable weight. He is a heavier noffa. Stuff that

I can't see Adam Doueihi being re-signed for 2025 at $600k. I also can't see Lomax being signed by any club for $800k.

Dropping Adam for Zac, at $650k for 3 years makes sense (to me).

Can Douhei defend? I’d only hold on to him to play 13.
