We are on a 5 day turnaround (Sunday night to Friday night) and have to go from Brisbane last week back to Sydney and up to Townsville. This will be a smashing.

I dont get it. Isn't that part of the world beautiful? Why not spend a week there? Millions of tourists do.

Seems we are almost playing our reserve grade backline .
So a team who lose big most weeks in NSW cup are going to win a game of NRL ?
Throw in Matamua whos been around for 3 years without success wow this could be a thrashing !
However to be fair to Benji what options does he have ?
Never seen the club with such a poor Roster and NO DEPTH !
Seems the strategy of basing our future on our PATHWAYS is not going to work
Even if we have a bunch of promising kids in Flegg ,Ball or whatever the fan base cant wait till 2027/8 ! No guarantee they won't go elsewhere anyway
The urgent need is RECRUITMENT and suggest we raid the top performing Cup sides here or Qld or the ESL and do it NOW !!!!

Sezar is back against the Titans Round 15 as he got 4 weeks and the Bye does not count unfortunately.

We at the very least get the pain over early in the weekend with it being at 6pm on Friday so we don't have to wait like last Sunday with hope until the last game.

I hope we can jag a win like the baby Broncos did against us, however if we keep the margin to 20 it will be a miracle.

I agree it’s rough… But it’s not an excuse

A short-turnaround has its positives, Who wants it more.

It really does come down to Attitude, Approach, Mentality, Belief System, Frame of Mind.

There’s no Fire in the Belly. It is disappointing imo

I think dropping Kepaoa says a lot.

On ability- he should have slotted into the centres right away.

I think the Naden binning has actually enacted the Benji-response.

No more dumb penalties. No more beating ourselves.

Is it a good backline? Hell no.

Are we outclassed? Obviously.

I expect that solid defensive structure & kick chase are the order of the day.

Declan Casey is a solid addition. Feledy has been pretty good finding gaps to run into & I think Matamua's call-up is actually a few weeks overdue. I thought Papali'i would slot back in at #13 but....given the inexperience out wide, having him defend wider makes sense.

The backline just has to not COST us the game. Thankfully the Cowboys were AWFUL in their win the other day. Our forwards should still match up ok.

Hope she has improved her fitness as I seem to remember her allowing some blatant forward pass tries against us one day.
But I wish her well and hope we don’t even notice she’s out there. Isn’t that the best sign the refs having a good game.

There's fire in the belly, but unfortunately it's being channelled into their poor discipline. Sucks that a snap decision via a brain fade only has ramifications that let the team down.
We already have a number of deficiencies at full strength and this is making it really hard for us to stay competitive.

That game against the Sharks shows we have it in us.
