OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

He busts his guts on every play, one of our better players every week....
and looks over his shoulder and sees Bud Sullivan on 3.5 times as much as him.
Doesn't matter how old you are, or where you live - He knows his worth, and it aint right.

If he was working at Maccas for $7 an hour, And his workmate was utter garbage, doing a worse job is on $27 an hour - He'd feel exactly the same way....
What are you talking about ? You’re speaking in relativity and projecting onto an 18 year old kid .
I’m speaking in actualities. The only reason he would be thinking like this , is if greedy adults were in his ear . And they are . He’s played 10 games of nrl . His form is of little relevance , and as such if he continues he will get the same upgrade Bula was awarded with last year .
By your logic every time there’s fluctuations in form the money should go to the one who’s in form .
Because that’s literally what you’re alluding to . It’s dumb.. and childish .
What happens when the inevitable form slump happens . Do we ask for him to relocate his funds to those in form ? He will get his upgrade . But it should not be dependant on the form of others as some kind “fairness” equation . It’s completely Irrelevant

What everybody needs to understand is that Galvin is not that great. He has a go tackling and has done a few good things in attack but he is nowhere near a top 5/8 and Latu may be better. Galvin mostly looks good because he plays a little above the players around him
💩

Galvin is an effort player. Super fit, has a lot of touches and as a result comes up with the really good stuff.

As far as pure 5/8 goes, I agree with you. He plays way too sideways. If you look at Olam, he simply doesnt know where to run. He has gone from a great hole runner to having no confidence hitting the line and it because Galvin cant set it up right. I would actually laugh if he went to the Roosters. Walker and Galvin running across field would drive the coach and team mates mad.

Whatever makes you feel better about the situation.

Galvin is an unreal player. What he's doing at just 18 against men is really, REALLY impressive. He is the only one able to create anything.

Spot on. He projects to be one of the best halves in the comp in 3-4 seasons. He’d be snapped up by a marquee club in a second. Nathan Cleary had people calling him plain/boring at that age. You can just tell.

I’m a little worried about his circular running ( similar to Nofa and Luai, at times). Hope they can get that coordinated coz I’d hate to see them collide with one another !!

I agree. Problem is we will likely be the stepping stone as we always seem to be. Growing pains with tigers then developed for the Roosters
