Was a very good team effort yesterday .. everyone seemed to be on the same page for a change. Seizer is very underestimated .. he is a controlling figure out there lays a platform and gets communicates whats happening 2 or 3 plays before they actually run the play. I would have to say that Stef had probably his best game for the year .. Pole followed what Stef was doing .. and Sam Fainu .. this kid be anything .. size, strength and ability .. (a real keeper) .. did he play the whole game without a break .. ?? Porter is a worker and Matamua went about his job quietly but effectively. The human pillow Stinkfarth didnt disappointment me .. played well tried hard and gave away his complimentary 10 mins in the bin penalty .. must the NRL's leading binned player this season. Sione Fainu copied little brother efforts and played when on.

Doueihi .. wow what an effort .. pestered Benji all week to get a run .. probably seem him Olam in the centres for the rest of the season .. good on him welcome back dude. When he came off he couldnt have blow out a candle .. he was wasted.

Congrats to all the young fellows who played .. we must have fielded the youngest team in the NRL yesterday .. !! So much youth brought lots of enthusiasm to the side and older guys lifted with this enthusiasm. Api and Seizer played like they were 20 year olds again .. lol

Loved the way Galvin and Bula combined together out wide .. Bula runs so silky .. its great to watch.

Alll in all .. everyone played out of their skins to give us that result .. keep it up and bring this enthusiasm next week against the Rorters .. !!

As I said as an interchange fine, Hunt solves an existing quality gap we have lacking on the bench today.

But suggestion as a replacement for Stefano we need someone different otherwise it’s Twal, Pole and Klemmer next year.

Not sure why there is so much hype around him. Haven't seen this much hype since Franklin Pele was off contract.

Not sure either? We want muscle, and kg that can run and defend, for 60 min. at least.

That’s the point, Klemmer, Twal and Pole are much better than anyone else currently available as a starting prop. The only one worth mentioning would be Oregon Kaufusi who is a big until at the right age on his mid twenties and seems quite mobile for a big man. The fact he has recently been starting ahead of a long list of above average props currently at the Sharks has to say something about his ability.

Issue is Klemmer and Pole have 1 year left.
Fainu is off contract season end.
Ipap is gone and Bateman might be out as well
We have an opportunity to really shape our forward pack for years to come but need the right balance cap wise on positions.

Hunt would be a stop gap at high cost given the market.

I think Hunt will be over priced v value he returns (he isn’t a game winner) and won’t be cheap. Prefer to send the money to Wilison or another boom forward for next year or 26.

I’m really hoping we can sort out Klemmers contract cause wow $850,000 for this year and next is a fair chunk of money, $1.7 mill to be exact.

Crazy cash right.
Imagine the player/s we could grab with that and the other 2m Richo with Stefano leaving.
