I agree & hope his future is at the Tigers but I guess given recent activity with Galvin once burnt twice shy as they say.Well imo humble opinion Faagutu is the best young lock prospect we have at the club.
Didn't he stay with us despite interest from the Storm? I don't believe we can arbitrarily write off a player because of his manager. I'm sure Richardson can calm troubled waters to get the outcome we want.I agree & hope his future is at the Tigers but I guess given recent activity with Galvin once burnt twice shy as they say.
Like Twal, he'll find out how much other clubs really value him.Stefano Utoikamanu has officially been granted permission to test the NRL open market, with the Wests Tigers remaining confident the prop will sign a long-term extension.
The 24-year-old has emerged as one of the most in-demand players in the competition and with some unique clauses in his current deal, looks set to become a free agent.
Utoikamanu has been linked with a move to multiple clubs and has publicly expressed his desire to land at a winning organisation after a tough stretch at Concord.
In a statement released on Wednesday afternoon, the Tigers confirmed the front-rower has been formally granted permission to look around - a decision that chief executive Shane Richardson claims the club are "comfortable" with.
I know u are been hopeful that these guys will turn into 1st grade players, but at best they are 2-3 years away , SO in the mean time what are we going to do , WAIT again and lose more players , we need to go into the market and buy some hard nosed forwards untill the kids come throughNo but he fills a need for us with the above attributes.
No one is saying he's Payne Haas that I've seen but if Uto departs, he's the right age profile to complement Klemmer, Twal as our young middle contingent (Miller, Faagutu, Sukkar, hopefully big Tofaeono, Johannssen) as they develop.
This will be interesting. Riccio was absolutely rock solid on SEN that another club, who he wouldn't name, are prepared to go to $1M per year for him. He says he want to be at a winning club - the only ones that pretty much always fit that criteria are Melbourne, Penrith, Roosters and maybe Brisbane and Sharks at a pinch, but they are a tier below. Will they pay him $1M a year? Doubt it, not on the books anyway (Chooks). He will only get $1M at a club like St George, Warriors, etc. Hardly winning clubs. Wonder if he ends up at the Rabbitohs under Wayne?Stefano Utoikamanu has officially been granted permission to test the NRL open market, with the Wests Tigers remaining confident the prop will sign a long-term extension.

He can finally tell the world that he is a roosterLike Twal, he'll find out how much other clubs really value him.
That’s what I’m actually saying if Stef departs.I know u are been hopeful that these guys will turn into 1st grade players, but at best they are 2-3 years away , SO in the mean time what are we going to do , WAIT again and lose more players , we need to go into the market and buy some hard nosed forwards untill the kids come through
I’d put the clubs in order of most likely as follows:This will be interesting. Gus won't get involved in a bidding war so you can cross them off.I’d put the clubs in order of most likely as follows:
Storm
Roosters
Bulldogs
Panthers
I’m sure there will be “Third party deals” involved 🙄
As much as I love Robbie, if we could move him into a more business focussed role I'd look at a Holbrook or Arthur to come on as an assistantOn another note. According to Zerotackle Robbie Farah's coaching contract runs out at the end of this year. Does he get resigned?
I know there were talks he would move to a more business side of the club. Anyone know if this is confirmed?

Gus will do what ever it takes and that includes lying about not getting involved in a bidding war.Gus won't get involved in a bidding war so you can cross them off.
If he's an Isaac Moses client then Isaac will convince him to leaveWell imo humble opinion Faagutu is the best young lock prospect we have at the club.
Arthur won’t happen. Looks like he’s going to move to Perth to build the new team.As much as I love Robbie, if we could move him into a more business focussed role I'd look at a Holbrook or Arthur to come on as an assistant
