Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Ur a nasty piece of works , I am entitled to my views , if u took the time to read my post ( that’s if u can read at all ) maybe u would see I was talking about forwards which we will be lacking in next year .
It’s hardly nasty , it’s an observation , as you must have a contusion to totally memory dump the signings we actually have made .
And it wasn’t meant in pure mean spirit , more just being a smartarse.
The point still remain though …

I’d put the clubs in order of most likely as follows:

Storm
Roosters
Bulldogs
Panthers

I’m sure there will be “Third party deals” involved 🙄
the raiders are after him too and they probably would have the 1mil
to pay seeing as theyre losing afew for next year

If we were to spend $1m on a forward it doesn’t come better than Angus. If it was an option you do whatever is needed to make it happen.

Would mean Fainu needs to shift to right or lock though but geez the combo of Luia/Angus would cause endless nightmares to teams.
I have to agree he has a beast mode that the tigers need !!!and the young fella's can follow his lead ..definitely worth throwing a figure at this manager

Adrian Proszenko (Herald) said on SEN today he believes Stefano wouldn’t leave Sydney due a family situation and needs to remain in Sydney. He wouldn’t go into detail of the situation though. Also believes he will stay. I hope he is right but journalists guessing like the rest of us
Might be that he doesn’t want to move away from his brother Filia who he is close to.

Adrian ran the story 4 years ago about their special bond. In short, Filia was a talented junior too but broke his neck playing (avoided quadriplegia thankfully).

In this story from 4 years ago, it says Stef is very close family friends with Oregon Kaufusi. Interestingly, Oregon has an option in his contract with the Sharks next season. Maybe the club could try to lure Oregon as a sweetener for Stef. Would be a dynamic prop partnership along with Pole et al!!!

Oregon would be a very nice replacement for Bateman and Paps.

This is 100% correct, however there are 8 other clubs in Sydney

Aside from on the park. He has been to the top and then rock bottom and came back with a vengeance. His experience could be invaluable on and off the park to our young brigade but also highlights how fast something could be taken away from you due to 1 bad choice.

Couple of interesting items in DT tonight:

Souths remain on the look-out for a cut-priced prop but the likes of Royce Hunt and Jack de Belin are expected to be too expensive.

NRL clubs are circling another Wallaby with Suli Vunivalu set to be the next target from the 15-man game. Vunivalu has attracted interest from a host of clubs already after the former Storm flyer missed out on Australia’s latest squad. He has 12 months left on his deal with the Queensland Reds but given Rugby Australia’s financial constraints they would consider letting him go to help free up some much needed funds.

Royce Hunt & Suli Vunivalu come on down to Tiger town 🤣
