Hey Tucker the nrl have never caught anyone from cheating the salary cap, the nrl acted cause of a pissed off ex employee at the Storm and a pissed off major sponsor at the bulldog's, until someone is pissed off that's the only time nrl acts, until then nothing, rooster's are replacing rep players with rep players, a blind man can see something's not right

You’re counting blokes playing for minnow nations is fine but not comparable to who’s lining up for the Rorters.

Yes and we pay them similar money to players far better on different rosters.
Come on bro ! That’s just playing scrabble with the same letters .
They’re cheating ! Like how google pays next to no tax in Australia or any big company. Sure it’s good accounting , but it’s also because the government chooses not legislate and change laws because of lobbying , back scratching etc.
The NRL should simply have 2 things .
1. Salaries made public like just about every other professional sport with a salary cap.
2. Have a cap that’s akin to American sports ie. if teams like the roosters go over it , they can but for every dollar over the cap they spend there’s a tax , with all the proceedings divided up amongst the teams who didn’t go over the cap .
That’s how NBA works , MLB , NFL etc.
The problem is all the cloak and dagger , 250k par 4s , 21 year olds driving around in Lamborghinis that no one knows who paid for etc.
Sure you can say don’t hate the player hate the game , but people had the exact opposite view about drug cheating in cycling ie. everyone was doing it , and it became a case of the best cheat wins ie. Lance Armstrong . But that ruins the integrity of the sport … which I feel clubs like roosters do to NRL .
Sorry and a draft … the draft would go a long way to parity in the nrl

We have a billionaire and many successful people support us. Get creative.
Man that’s bad faith data mining right there . Most of our internationals are for tier 2 nations , or ex origin players from yesteryear .(API should be the NSW 9 right now ) .
Nearly all the roosters internationals are current , and the moment they arnt they won’t be at the roosters

That’s what winners do. Likewise how we run things is how losers do.
It’s very simple.
That’s not a sustainable model though , for a business where the whole premise is sold on equity and parity .
What you’re talking about is tax evasion , or something you’d play at a casino .
Somehow the logic of “don’t hate them join them “ has become the consensus .
Whilst it’s the most obvious and pragmatic solution to the problem today , the whole idea is pretty shit for the integrity of the sport .
Dude come on ! It’s the elephant in the room re. The nrl . The broncos have also rorted the cap since the dawn of time , but in some ways they get a pass because it’s usually paying Johnny from up the road , not buying other teams guns .
For me I don’t want to roosters bash , as you’re right that’s the way the game needs to be played .
I just think that it should not be played like that .

They would be paying a portion each year for many years opposed to paying them at once.
