Discipline

Interesting Trent Robbo has come out against our treatment by the ref yesterday, calling API’s sin bin unwarranted.

It was bloody obviously not a sin bin but glad to see someone at the Roosters has some integrity.

We need the coach or CEO to go off and say exactly what is crap calls against the lower sides like Payton did.

API should have been a penalty only with it going above the horizontal and AD swung around on the tackle from behind and did not come down on the legs , however the ref said a high likelihood of injury could have occurred so binned him. Dom Young got up and had no issue.

Bin the first tackler off the kick off each time if that is the case.

I’m frustrated the NRL is becoming over policed in fear of injury. I can accept head shots with the CTE concerns but ICE has Val Holmes injure him but got nothing but a fine.

It is a tough sport and injuries happen but that should not constitute a sin bin each time.

The problem that the league is getting to is that these points are becoming match-defining. We need to protect players, but they need to be far more careful to the extent that they use the bin.

Some of these are purely accidental. Doueihis yesterday was a joke. Api's could have been a penalty only.

They are deciding matches most of the time with these calls when there has been no injury or harm to players.

Even Annusley says Api's binning was harsh. Must have been a massive dilemma whether to change more rules and interpretations or disagree with the Roosters.
