Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He’ll have to take Tigers to top 8 first year for that IMO. The way Crichton has helped to turned the dogs around I think he is the best signing in a long time
I think people really underestimate how good the Bulldogs roster is. Kikau, Crichton, Burton, Fox, Preston, Curran, Mahoney, Kiraz, Tracey. And they have a great defensive coach opposed to Benji. Gus and Richo is a bit of a divide too. As opposed to us, it's Api (who is mid-30s), and some talented rookies (Bula, Galvin, Fainu etc.). Our 'stars' in Papali'i, Bateman, are either underperforming or don't want to be here.

If Brisbane get Walker…. then from a Roosters perspective as much of a turd Moses is you’d be silly not to go get him.

Especially if your captain is behind the scenes trying to make it happen.
Didn't moses earlier this year sign a new contract at the eels for roughly 5 years, seriously NRL wake up and force a contract to be 100% honoured from start to finish

Just to clarify the source I have regarding this topic is someone close to Moses.

I was also told he hates the Tigers and never wanted to or wants to come back.

So rule us out lol even though Luai is 1000% the better fit for us anyways.

He’ll never win a premiership and I’ll take a lot of amusement watching him continue to fail with that goal.
Before the 2024 season kicked off the moses family ( issac and Mitchell ) loved the West's Tigers cause we were driving Mitchell's new contract value up.

Luai is a huge signing, perhaps the best in the NRL for a few years.
He will not do anything here unless we build around him and set the platform (forwards, outside backs, management). Crichton has gone to the Dogs with a Panther-esque structure of Gould at CEO, Ciraldo a great defensive coach, and many former panthers (Burton, Kikau, Salmon). He is also playing centre so he doesn't have as much to worry about compared to a half or fullback as he plays one side, and can focus on leadership too. It is why Burton and Mahoney are having great years after being thrown the captaincy last year which took away from their on field leadership through actions and distracted their decision making. They also have plenty of marquee players and a strong roster. Bulldogs 2024 roster has much more depth and quality than Tigers 2024. For 2025, allowing more juniors and marquee players to strike a relationship is key for success, but I think we are at least a few years away from a top 8 berth if you look at the roster. Also Benji's coaching is not giving me too much confidence, yet we will persist with him until we go into a deeper hole and find a stop-gap solution

I’m not sure if people have seen - this isn’t from a source from my end but there’s some rumours on Facebook circulating that Cobbo might want a fresh change in Sydney and looking to leave QLD. Not sure on the truth levels of that headline but definitely interesting.

However, what I did report (from a source) that the club was looking at launching a serious bid for Cobbo come November 1st. Maybe it could potentially be something to look for….. us having interest means nothing if Cobbo wants to stay in QLD though.
Cobbo would be the perfect big, fast, tackle busting outside back we need.
However I’m 💯 certain the Roosters will do whatever it takes to get him.

Watch him when Qld thump the Blues next game.

Do you have any Intel on where we plan to play Turuva? I thought centre when we first signed him but AD / Olam could fill that next year and then we are potentially looking at Cobbo in AD spot the year after?

Not to mention Makasini potentially coming through. Makes me feel like benji views Tito as a winger.

We’re not going to sign Cobbo. Turuva will most likely play in both positions.

You have 0 reading comprehension and it's honestly so boring seeing people like you yap an opinion at the sight of a name.

My question wasn't whether Cobbo was coming or not, and honestly your opinion is irrelevant on that topic anyway. I'm sure you said Luai wasn't coming, and Turuva wasn't coming. "Why would they come here" is what I'm sure you've yapped on here plenty of times.

My question was as simple as, where will Turuva be playing as we already have 2 centres for next year and we are seemingly targeting another.

We can only hope!

Yeah never known an indigenous lad from Cherbourg wanting a fresh change interstate but we don't know what's going on in his life.

Maybe in our favour is Greg Inglis' relationship with Richo through his Goanna Academy & Latrell being in Sydney (both could be mentors especially how they manage/d the limelight).

If there is substance to this, reckon it would be us v Roosters!

Unfortunately I’m unsure on what position he’ll be playing as I don’t know anything regarding that - however, how it was initially pitched to Turuva from all reports was it was to play centre.

Personally, I think round 1 2025 he’ll be on the wing for us but that’s just an opinion.

Love the posts Teddy. Where the hate come from?

WT gave him a chance in first grade before he was ready and payed him well. He tanked to get out of the club. Some people are just ungrateful.

I really hope we can hand off the wooden spoon to Parra, and Moses the parrasite.

Can not wait for Luai to come and start climbing up the ladder. Big upset this weekend at Leichhardt.

Get off the bus pretenders who dont love the club, ie Stephano
He is a pos just like Isaac Moses.

If Luai didn't get us to the top 8 - will you be a hater then? Of him? Just asking. Cause in 12 months you will have your answer. I have the same hope though at the 8th wonder of the world this weekend.
