When was the last time TOA played a game.I disagree Doueihi has been and will be exposed defensively in the centres, ill give you Olam but the jury is still very much out on Toa also. We do need a rep level outside back whether its at centre or wing but they are a bit sparce atm we shouldn't be turning our nose up at Tass. He not fantastic im not making that argument im saying hes an improvement imo.
Didn’t this guy play with us in lower grades ?And Milne several ofloads, one directly lead to a key try.
Tend to agree with you, except on the walk you better pack thongs ,it may be BINDI season. If luai gets us to a top 8 , I will walk bare foot around Australia, and I say this , at present, we don’t have the forward power to set a platform for luai , Galvin or api , should we sign 3-4 forwards who have some mongrel in them I would say yes we would have a shot at the top 8 . But. Can’t see any forwards coming in only ones leaving
Did a hammy trying to ground a ball a while backWhen was the last time TOA played a game.
Thoughtful post, thanks. The thing for me though is we spent a long time putting resources around Luke Brooks and the guy just wasn't up to it.
It will be refreshing and hopefully beneficial for us not to have to worry too much about the new halfback, who will do his job and create chances, and let the other players just do their job.
For example Tigers 2024 are a low-error side and Tigers 2023 had lots of attacking possession, but the main problem was that good defences could withstand our early assaults and then wrestle back control of the match. At which point we'd eventually capitulate.
My personal argument is that in 2024 Tigers are even more competitive for longer periods, compared to 2022-2023, despite not yet converting that to more wins. And the key to that has been being able to sustain pressure and maintain an attacking threat, which Luai is expected to provide.
It's different for a young and modest team when there isn't continual pressure on us, and pressure is alleviated by keeping the ball (which we are doing) and turning possession into points (which Luai was signed to help).
Milne was sacked by the Wests Tigers in April 2018 after failing a drugs test.Didn’t this guy play with us in lower grades ?
Yeah, but he seems to have been off the gear for awhile as has Nado.Milne was sacked by the Wests Tigers in April 2018 after failing a drugs test.
It seems to have damaged his brain, as he is one of the dumbest players in the comp.Yeah, but he seems to have been off the gear for awhile as has Nado.
I wonder if GI is still helping JB?
Has his moments. It seems to have damaged his brain, as he is one of the dumbest players in the comp.
He'd definitely lift our cup side. Those guys have been struggling worse than firsts.I've always thought Tass was decent with his best footy ahead of him. Has a good well rounded game that I can see maturing well a
Into an above average NRL centre.
Would be a handy signing to replace Naden
Has to be considered one of the form players in the comp. If not, THE form player.Has his moments.
How good was Jerome tonight??!
Fk he’s a footballer’s footballer.
I couldn’t think of a better signing atm.
Surely he doesn't have anywhere near as many brain explosions as Naden. Haven't seen a lot of him but if he was getting sent off once a month is think I'd know himHe’s a slower version of Brent Naden, please no.
I agree, he’s playing intelligent, tough footy and his game management has improved leaps and bounds since Cleary got injured.Has his moments.

Yeah, I’ve been looking for the word. Smug, that’s the look I keep seeing.I agree, he’s playing intelligent, tough footy and his game management has improved leaps and bounds since Cleary got injured.
The ‘smug one’ is blessed to be playing along side him next year!
Yes.. hopelessTruth....
Funny thing is,
The pack is better than it's been in 10 years now, But somehow that was the halfbacks fault?

That palm off on Tino was out of the Inglis playbook.Yeah, but he seems to have been off the gear for awhile as has Nado.

Not sure whether you’re talking about Naden and Milne but both have extremely low footy IQ. Both could be poster boys for the dangers of drugs. It seems to have damaged his brain, as he is one of the dumbest players in the comp.
