Fonua Pole #257

Was as good as any of the Roosters forwards tonight.
I stilll think he can potentially be a better edge forward than he is as a middle, but he’s a gun either way.
Not sure any Roosters forwards missed a quarter of their attempted tackles

Good with the ball, however one of the reasons we lose control of the middle in defence

Pole should be extended for 3 more years
Sam F I think is locked in for 3 more so that’s ok , just adjust his deal if required
Galvin 2 more years needs to be extended another 2
the young winger Luke who played last 2 games needs to be locked in as well he is a very good prospect , Could be a gun lock , hits well , runs hard or even a centre , to short for wing .
Stef needs to be sorted out asap , go or stay , but needs to be sorted so we can unload and add players

To me it looks like Klemmer is still trying, but he is too one dimensional with no footwork and very limited in passing offloading, so it’s not hard for the opposition to nullify his impact.
It was ok when he was younger as he was quicker and more fearless with his ball running, but it looks very much like he’s playing with a big of self preservation these days.
