Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Something like that does no warrant a 24 hour teaser. It's something lame, that not many people care about, just another piece of merch to flog.

We've won 2 spoons in a row, about to win our third, and our major announcements are a one off jersey? That's embarrassing, an highly unprofessional social media strategy

Sometimes I feel sorry for the Social Media team… they certainly cop the abuse … but if this is all it’s about then they deserve a kick up the bum …

I don’t even get any tease even for the best of news …this team needs to be passing on good news as soon as it’s too hand ..

Penrith just a couple of hours ago, released an announcement on their 25 home ground.
A video which features some scenic shots of parramatta with the serenity being interrupted by Hells Bells booming from the Parramatta Stadium speakers.
Very clever!

It’s the woman in league jersey. You can see purple in the photo. Ahh. Good news I guess
Without offending anyone it's all good to release a women In league jersey it's a great initiative, but if this is what it turns out to be I'll be livid. There is no reason to just not announce it, why have a teaser for it. We need signings or re-signings to pick up the fan bases spirit's abit not another jersey. It's just not a priority atm.

Whomever does the socials needs to be a WT fan, it's that simple.

Talintyre got it because he was a fan, he used the right amount of emotion and professionalism. Our socials are just dry corporate crap, whereas Dan understood what the fan base wanted and needed.

Externals just treat us like any other business customer, and not the long term suffering, painfilled supporters we are.

Go for the job!

It's just incredibly disappointing. Roster management totally screwed up. We have practically no talent in the back row in every single grade. And one of our top 3 prospects that isn't playing NRL leaves.
Disgraceful when the likes of Sukkar and Tumeth are under contract. I have no doubt Zak will make it as a first grader. Not many players play all positions from 6-13, but he can, there's just something about him. He's not huge but he's a real competitor with a lot of skill. He even kicks goals.
For players yet to debut he's only behind Broederlow to me. We had better secured someone better if we're letting him go.

I share these exact same sentiments. Clarke was
a must keep and future 1st grader. Tumeth & Sukkar
haven't got shit on him. Terribly disappointing again.

With this week's news that a talented Magpies junior Zak Clarke is off to Penrith next season, it got me thinking who are our 'must keeps' from pathways (knowing that we can't keep all our juniors).

Have divided into 2 categories (and not including those who will be Top 30 or Dev next year):

1 - Those too old for Jersey Flegg next season (so would have to be signed as a T&T or NSW Cup contract)
2 - Our current 17-20 yos

21yos moving into seniors next year 'must keeps' (Only 5 I'd be keen to retain, the 5th is a ??? too)
1. Bailey Hodges
2. Cayne Nicholas
3. Herman Tofaeono
4. Vaka Aho
5. Kobie Wilson

Our 17-20yos 'must keeps'
1. Haemasi Makasini (17)
2. Onitoni Large (17)
3. Christian Taupau-Moors (17)
4. Pheonix Godinet (17)
5. Lachlan Broederlow (20)
6. Navren Willett (19)
7. Jared Haywood (18)
8. Archie Duncombe (18)
9. Alex Isdale (17)
10. Mitchell Taotua (19)
11. Maxwell Taotua (19)
12. Peter Ta'ai (17)

NOTE: We have a lot of exceptional 16yos (Ashton Large, Siotame Havea & quite a few from Andrew Johns Cup)

Thoughts?

Is Taupau Moors related to Marty and Junior - ie the original Moops?
