What? Bellamy has consistently produced high quality halves, hookers and fullbacks during his tenure at the Storm.

Let's put it this way. If I had a choice between signing Bellamy as coach or Smith as hooker, I'd take Bellamy all day.

I would argue that Talau is not better than Olam or Doueihi at centre.

At best, he would be on par with To'a, who himself has been woefully inconsistent.

Talau is playing on the end of a slicker and better drilled football side than he was here and is reaping the benefits. He has in no way vastly improved or developed from his time here.

What he has done has capitalised on his opportunity at Manly and is playing some ok footy.

Good on him. I guess.

To simplify it, the backs are basically 7 on 7. Teams have to honour guys like Saab, Tommy, DCE and to a lesser extent Brooksy who has a bit of running threat. In basketball parlance, if you’re double teaming those guys, a guy like Talau will see plenty of opportunities.

Isn't the date the club was founded July 27th (I think) 1999?? Perhaps a special event or commemorative jersey, to mark the occasion.

No offense to the club but it’s been a pretty miserable quarter century. The best way to commemorate the occasion is to announce some roster changes.

Hope not would much rather Pole extends, but we will see what happens tomorrow. Funny though not a peep out of the club the leaks have dried up which is good.
