Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

He's like a smaller and less skilful version of Twal to me. And given his inability to standout in flegg or cup it appears that's about right.

People on here forget how Twal was a real force in the junior grades, u20s origin star etc. And he's still a
Can’t be Sukkar or Tumeth problem because they were not there and the Cup side got flogged. I think Wests need to look at the real underlying issue here and it’s their defence and error rate. Until they fix that, there will be no improvement and they will yield the same results. They have changed players each week like nappies on a baby! No difference or change and it’s not the Coach.

I share these exact same sentiments. Clarke was
a must keep and future 1st grader. Tumeth & Sukkar
haven't got shit on him. Terribly disappointing again.
Unfortunately that’s not what the Coaches & Trainers see each day and that’s all that really counts. More importantly what are we going to do to build a better Culture and a supportive one so we can see a new West Tigers evolve. Any positive Suggestions or ideas?

We don’t seem to like players who can create or score points.
We saw that on the weekend and still got flogged. You need hard working forwards that keep defending all day for 80min and keep moving forward to tire the opposition and create openings for our fast players. We forwards that don’t know what hard work is and want a rest every 10min. That’s the problem! They need a Mark Carrol at training in the forwards camp!

Recent report advising Dragons are releasing Ravalawa.

Would be nice to be interested in players that are actually still wanted by their existing club… they are losing one of their best players this year ( Lomax) .. still willing to cut ties with big boy here .. he must be shit..

A premiership winning coach cant seem to get the most out of him … Im sure Benji will be up for it though

got future Wests Tigers signing all over it

I was against Rava a few weeks ago, however the way he is starting the Dragons sets is very useful. He has some other typical deficiencies that come with the big Fajian wingers, but as long as he continues to show the hunger to run hard then I think I'd be willing. We desperately need more go forward from our back 5.

Not what we need , we need players who are ready to go and are an upgrade on our current lot , he is not very good

I'm not completely sold either, but the games I've watched this year, Ravawala has been very good. Not sure why he was dropped a few weeks back, but his ability to get the Dragons up the field is right up there and something we badly need. Bula kick return, followed by big Ravalawa tackle two then Turuva play 3 with his footwork and we are at halfway. It's a big thing.

need first graders ..this guy is not that ..

I think people see a guy and think .. well he is better than our crap player X … and whilst this might be the case … it’s not going to move the needle very far at all if he is still not a guy playing at NRL standard

I tend to agree with what your saying. It may come down to the approach Benji wants. With someone like Rava and Turuva, ge can really emphasise the starts of our sets to gain momentum much like Penrith and the Sharks do. It does come with some downfall in regards to Rava though. There must be a reason Flanno is off him.

We should use disposables.
