Why would you move Galvin from 5/8? He is playing the role perfectly, just lacking the runners outside him and people hitting holes. If we want him to leave at the end of his current contract, then push him to lock.

Yep. Our so called problem from the last 10 years looks pretty good with quality backs and behind a decent pack. Fix the issues, not the strengths.

Tbh I’d rather JAC for $500k for 2 years if he came available. Offers just as much as Val if not more. Then go hard for Kotoni Staggs come Nov 1.

He seems to have really fallen away this year. Still better then what we have. Goal kicking outside back with size and strength. Maybe his form is to do with Payten. They didn't get on at first, maybe that's reared it's ugly head again and affected his form.

Sign him as a winger not center that’s his position. Zero chance Cowboys won’t be tipping in for his salary as well. He hands down would instantly be our best back by a mile and would solve a major issue meter wise from the back.

He's failed every test for years on his defence. It wont change.
How long does it take people on here for the penny to sink in, it will never change?

We provide too much latitude and time on hoping it can be trained out of them.
Time to face facts and the hard decisions and cut them loose. [Same for some of our other hopefuls in waiting].
If other clubs think they can turn him around so be it, they can pay for the exercise. He becomes successful and makes a lot of money, good luck, go for it.

I agree he has a lot of work to do on his defence. Admittedly we will not be paying him a lot next year so it is all up to him. I hope he works through it.

His issues in defence have always been there … I also see him having a crack at young players on the field after an error…. I don’t equate that with being a leader

Straight away he is owed about $1m next season.
Cowboys will tip in a good chunk to get him off their books. That’s what they want to do.
If Stefano & Bateman goes (plus others) we have $2.5m for next season alone in cap space.

We have to use most of the cap space anyway next year.

Sign him for 3yrs make year 1 very palatable loaded with Cowboys tip in and we have a nice deal for years post.

Turuva signed on for about 500k and Val is a level above him. For 600-700k next year and then future years around 600k that would be decent business.

150+ mtr winger who runs hard is exactly what we need.

I doubt we have a chance with Flanno apparently chasing him & they have cash from Lomax to spend.
