Bcoz there is someone better, or just as good and you need to fit them all in, or, you reckon he’ll play better in another position. Take your pick.
I reckon he is gone to the highest bidder or top four team next contract anyway, so play him where the team needs him.

His cultural convictions should be I will get this fixed for the Great Wests Tigers to show how honourable I am to the very favourable contract and opportunity they gave me.

From what I heard, the Cowboys want to keep him and are trying to gauge the market values of Holmes, so they don't give out a bad contract.

So don't get your hopes up too high.

St George are going to be front of the queue and the Roosters are going to have a look at him but if we at least don’t set up a meeting we’re kidding ourselves. Val walks backwards into our side.
 
For someone like Val Holmes surely playing outside of Jerome Luai is worth consideration ?
If we then added a big name or two in the forwards and another NRL quality outside back it should then start to get his attention.
Holmes may be 29 but is extremely fit, so should maintain his speed into his early 30’s and his goal kicking is an added attraction,

If he needs surgery but is refusing

1 thats probably why the storm wanted rid.

2 he did a medical why wasn't this raised with him then or if it was and now he refuses the situation has changed.

3 which brings me to this conclusion if he needs it but is refusing we need to medically retire him. Because a knee issue that can be fixed that he won't fix means we arent getting any value from him. Nor would anybody else even if we shipped him off.

Richo loves following his own blueprint. Can see him trying to replicate a lot of the Souths rebuild. Already compared Galvin to John Sutton. Luai could be the Roy Asotasi big name leader recruit. Who could be our GI? @teddy23 got me thinking that maybe Selwyn Cobbo will be our big Nov 1 target. Something’s not right with Cobbo atm either at the Broncs, looked very disinterested/casual yesterday against the Dogs.

Luai is in a class of his own and I agree with Richo that we are lucky he’s coming.

I still can’t believe Penrith let him go and the way they did it.

Cobbo talk makes me nervous, awesome talent but he is miles off atm.
