Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

The prop situation we can fix. We still have Klem, Pole... and Twal. We just need some honest "no name brands" that churn out similar stats to Stef. Paulo was thrown up as an option and I like that.

2010/11 we had blokes like Big Red, Gibbs and Payten. Alongside our juniors of Woods and Fifita, who were both often our subs. None of those were ever exceptional, maybe bar Fifita at a point in time.... and woods for about a year.

If we go for the names, we'll overpay. We need to play moneyball, like the dogs did.

Free'ing up the stef cash gives us a number of possiblities
Those Dogs guys who are doing a job may even shake loose if Stef ends up there.

Sorry Hammertime but if Twal is in our 13 or even our 17 next year, we are Farouked.

Who knows if any of this is true but this should not be happening during the season - the NRL really need to do better in relation to the trading and recruitment of players.
The fans lose their minds - the gossip around the game generates equal interest to the product itself.

I think your last sentence may be why the NRL will not change it, the gossip continues to keep the game in the media.
