But he was only a really young guy on his own, so no great threat imo.

Don’t you find it odd that he was linked to us in the hypothetical and that even more so a potential hypothetical was raised and discussed.
Don’t you think those guys know more then they are allowed to say?

My fanciful theory is who’s to say To’o didn’t ask for a release back in May knowing his good mates Luai & Turuva were heading our way. Panthers & Tigers could have then spoke and agreed on a swap deal with Papalii plus we’ll throw in Kepaoa immediately. Maybe Panthers didn’t want to announce then to avoid publicity about everyone leaving.

That’s true.

Some people are up for it, others not.

I’ve got a few players I’d be interested in pursuing given our new found fortune.

I’d be quite interested in Gutho as a fb or utility because of his capabilities and ultra competitiveness.

I’d feel better with him at the back than Bula because Bula isn’t a commander and we could use his speed on the wing.

But obviously we need a marquee forward or two, preferably younger but and willing.

I like the idea but Gutho is pretty busted up. He needs a break from the game.
