Id suggest listening to it rather than just reading about it as whatever you have read has mislead you. Its a good listen. He never said we only need 3 players. From what he said he believes we're about 8 players short of where we need to be.

But it takes some time to make changes on that scale when there are contracts involved. He has spoken to the managers and players that he says arent part of their future plans. But he can't sign players to replace them unless those players actually agree to leave.

Tbh he doesnt sound too confident that next year will be our year although he did say we'll be much more competitive and looking to get into the 8. But i got the feeling 2026 is when he sees the club really starting to become a genuine top 8 chance.

Maybe he could email Gus at the dogs and ask him how to move players on , they do it really well , just a suggestion

Gus didn't manage to do it all in 1 year though. Its taken him 3 years to get them to where they are. A lot of the players they have moved on since he got there is due to contracts expiring rather than moving players on early.

If you're going to judge him against what Gus has done then you need to see how we're going in 2027 otherwise its an unfair comparison.

Think bptiger0 was referring to the way they have made players want to leave. 😂 I doubt we’re that ruthless?

Stef on a 5 year deal @ $800,000 per year.
On potential he will clear his head and pull his weight?

Sure, you have everyone putting up their hand shouting “pick me” for the blues. While it’s hard to get players to come and stay at the Tigers. Stef was a great signing of Maguire’s. Im surprised he did as well as he did with no cap space and 30% of the cap sitting in the stand watching fall a game.
