I’m really pleased for Utoikamanu joining Storm. He’s now destined for a great career, as a Blues prop. Maguire always spoke in glowing terms about Utoikamanu and Blore. Good luck to them both.
 
A forgotten man in Junior Tupou is going to Dolphins next year - who's fit to return within the next fortnight.

Where does this leave 23 year old Jake Averilo...... I'd personally give Phins management a call and see if he's home sick and wants to come back to Sydney for a potential swap with Tupou who could help the Phins with their finals run this year.
 
Don't know about anyone else but Melbourne is no surprise to me.

Look at the facts:
  • Stef doesn't want to leave Sydney because of family
  • What Stef has been dishing up on field has been crap

It's so obvious, Stef will be playing at North Sydney. 🤣🤣🤣

On a serious note, Bellamy will turn him into a beast. 😢

So, ok. Let's assume it's 3 'key' players. That would be guys that play & have a decent role in the club, I'd assume.

Obvious answer off the bat is Addo-Carr. Skelton is close to taking that spot anyway, saving the money on Addo-Carr at this stage is smart &, just as importantly, Addo-Carr is a Tartak client.

Young prop Chris Patolo is off contract & would be likely to lose his spot once Utoikamanu comes in anyway. He's played around 30 1st grade games in his career & could hold some value.

Liam Knight is also off contract.

Hayze Perham played a lot of fullback last season for the Dogs but can play centre & 5/8 as well- only 25 years old. Has a wicked step on him if he gets to unleash it.

Last name I'd put up is Ryan Sutton. Could this be our English player? He hasn't fit into the Bulldogs style & was told he could leave last year but hurt his knee & neck at one point.

If we come away with Addo-Carr, Sutton & Liam Knight, maybe Hayze Perham, this bolsters depth at worst & I'd imagine we would get at least 2 1st grade squad players there.

No there’s better choices out there , however would take addo- carr , if they throw in Curran , and morrin

Chad I love the names you throw up even though I don't agree on some of them. However, please just drop one off your list, Liam Knight. I don't know what's happened to him, but he is running the ball so soft it's alarming.

Was about to write something along those lines haha. Skelton has to be getting keen for more NRL game time and not being the 4th choice winger. He certainly looks up to it.
All realistic targets mentioned before.
Would be even better if Richo gives a surprise with someone of quality we do not expect at all.
