Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

So u would say no if we had the chance to sign JWH from the roooters , he is the worse ill_ disciplined player , but I would have him in a heart beat

He's never been available to WTs. No doubt the mainstay of the Rooster's pack but he would be in a lot of trouble with the refs if he was..

If it’s true a few parra players may be on the chopping bloke would definitely be worth a lot. They’re a lot better than where they sit on the table, especially in their forwards.

We had a development deal but I think Panthers offered a top 30 maybe? Tbh they could have offered a development deal as well. Kid has chosen to go to the Panthers, can't really blame him.

You would assume every development deal would have a get out clause for greater opportunities.
was he the kid that went 2 parra n scored 3 on debut april/may

lol listen to you trying to sound smart and an expert, he’s not in the side for a reason, because he played rubbish. They gave him a go because he was getting all these big wraps against a C grade side and he couldn’t handle it. He played rubbish!! Overrated as well, all this hype and he ain’t done nothing
Once again, you have no idea what you’re talking about.

I’m really pleased for Utoikamanu joining Storm. He’s now destined for a great career, as a Blues prop. Maguire always spoke in glowing terms about Utoikamanu and Blore. Good luck to them both.
I could barely care less. I don’t wish harm to them but I hope they end up like woods or worse. I hope the football gods never shine down them and they have bad luck on the field, drop ball and missed tackles.
You are either with us or against us.

Chad I love the names you throw up even though I don't agree on some of them. However, please just drop one off your list, Liam Knight. I don't know what's happened to him, but he is running the ball so soft it's alarming.
I'll be honest- the names mean nothing.

It's the player type I think is important. We need to be a team the opposition DO NOT want to play against. I think the "Bash Brothers" idea is something that a few top sides do & don't get aknowledged for it.

Horsburgh, Seyfarth & Hetherington won't make teams think of JWH, Radley & Collins.

But, it might make them sneak a peak before running through the middle against the Tigers.

We HAVE to be harder.

sezer will play nsw cup next year , will only be in first grade if we have significant injuries

im told stef signed for around 675 next year contract peaking at 800

big nas will be on the move imo (no mail)
If Sezar is coming back, I would HAVE to assume that's at the expense of Sullivan.

Right?

Will a top 30 spot be wasted on Sezer then?

The interesting bit for me is that we still have 2 options that we need to understand what's happening in Sezer and Tumeth and 5 players in our current top squad who aren't in the top 30 next year in - Alimalo, faatape, Porter, Johansson and Sione Fainu.

What we really need to do is clear the decks. Not sure who goes but their would have to be questions around - Feledy, Sakuru, Naden, Sullivan, Matamua, Kit, Sukkar, Faagutu as to which if any we have next yr. None have made any impression in nrl this year and yes some are young but then imo they should be on development or cup contracts not top 30 but don't know how you go about paying them out and still keeping them at that lower level
