I dont like the "inherited this roster" crap, its been said for years and is a weak excuse.
You work with what you have got, perform a simple SWOT analysis and understanding the results, you begin coaching them.

Really? Thank God for that. Let's hope the surgery helps him for next year. I'm bewildered it took this long to happen. This surgery should have happened 8 weeks ago, but at least it's finally happening and we have a glimmer of hope Olam will be fitter and healthier next year. He has showed glimpses this year, so if he gets healthy I think he can do well at left centre.
 
Seasons over so getting both done should see him get a good off season and come in ready to rip , I would be doing this with any player who is staying with us , minor things can wait but if it’s a surgery and has 4 or more weeks to recover before light work , get it done now , start the 2025 campaign off with new Recruites , no injury Worries , and players ready to rip in , 2025 will be a big year for our club as there is a lot to do .
Blend in the new players who arrive .
Work on getting our defence rock solid .
New Attack with Luai leading the charge .
Harden up the young fellas .
Strength and Fitness needs to be 110% better than this year

Olam to undergo surgery

As good as someone having surgery is, this is good news. Best chance of him fulfilling his contract in the best shape as possible.

If it's just a cleanout, with a month to go and then off-season, hopefully Olam can complete most if not all of pre-season.

Common sense has prevailed.
Both Kees? And we signed him like that. He should give us a 80% discount on this years contract as he knew.

Makes you wonder what the medical staff were doing or what checks were done. There were obvious red flags with the storm keen to offload him 🤦🏻‍♂️
