No problem as long as its a KOE contractHappy to sign Knight as long as he isn't classified as a marquee signing for us. More of a 'Meh' type signing that can add some depth to our pack..

Pole is waiting for an offer from the club.Is it confirmed that POLE has resigned , if so great news
I'm on the preston bandwagon. It's irresistible from afarHave I stumbled into the Canterbury Bulldogs forum in some sort of fever dream??
He is 124 KG.Goes ok to , didn’t think he would be one to be tapped
Or help Penrith rise further?Andrew Johns came up with a good idea to help lower tier clubs; he called it a “compensation fee” which must be payed when purchasing a local junior from said club. It’s to help compensate the club who has spent time and money developing these juniors rather than develop then lose with no gain.
For example if Storm come and say “we want Onitoni” they would then on top of the contract they have to pay for would then have an additional fee which we get which could be $100,000. Just helps clubs pick of the lower tier clubs.

Not sure that’s correct , I thought it was reported Richo and Pole almost complete on a new deal , could be wrongPole is waiting for an offer from the club.
it has to be reflected in the salary cap for it to be worth anything. hypothetically if a team comes in for a player of ours they should have to take a $150,000 hit on their salary cap for the length of the contract. it’s the only way to force teams like Melbourne and Easts to develop their own, although Melbourne are definitely improving.Andrew Johns came up with a good idea to help lower tier clubs; he called it a “compensation fee” which must be payed when purchasing a local junior from said club. The top two just feel like the same kind of signings that normally fail. Past it.reckon we are close to signing these 3

Agreed. I want arrogant pricks - like Luai in our team.I agree. Bula could make a good centre and eventually get his confidence back. Fa.arlago does not have any worries about attacking a ball under pressure and could also cover numerous other positions. He would bring what we desperately lack. Enthusiasm.
Would take Gillard and duncan at right pricereckon we are close to signing these 3

Hassett is too small.on Hassett, this screams WT buying the dip.
former Aus Schoolboys captain and NSW U19s rep who was wanted by a stack of clubs only two years ago. hasn’t exactly set the world alight in NSW Cup but has decent numbers on both sides of the ball and would benefit from a change of scenery and a clear path to first grade.
obviously we need quality and depth on the edges, but these are the kinds if opportunistic buys I hope and expect of us these next few years as we try to rebuild the roster.
I like the thought behind it. It could be improved by that $100,000 being included in the salary cap of the club poaching the junior.Andrew Johns came up with a good idea to help lower tier clubs; he called it a “compensation fee” which must be payed when purchasing a local junior from said club.
