Im seeing a sense of hopelessness from the forum mposters even the positive ones .I must admit im a half full type of oerson but im feeling like theres no hope for the future.I think we need to give Richo till the end of the last round as any signings cant be made public until commitments are finished.If nothing happens after that then ill be really worried for the future .Until the i think we should hold our ammunition and wait and see what Richo comes up with.

The timing of the new signings concerns me less than the actual numbers required to even turn this team into a mid table standard….

Feb would be disappointing, as again player X no pre season with this club , he needs to pull his finger out and get deals done , in 4 weeks time when top 8 is sorted I would expect something from him , and also if a club is happy for players XYZ , Parra for example to tap players on the shoulder and say free to go , then we should be dropping signings no issue , perfect example Papi to Penrith , can I go , yep , done in a week , so far we can’t even announce a player from bottom teams , please Richo also said about 2 weeks ago he was close to finalising a deal with a player , it’s in his best interest to get that name out there UNLESsss it’s a real Dud like previous ones

Are we in a worse position than Souths were in 2004 when he joined them? It took Richo 4 seasons to get them off the bottom of the table. We are only in year 1 of his tenure here, so based on this trend, we could be in for a few more years of pain before we can expect things to get better.

100%. He's been awesome at changing our message of those 10 years. Previous admin swept it under the rug which just caused pain in the media. Richo has now changed it into a challenge

It will be what it will be Is my philosophy now with the club. I stopped paying for membership(family ticketed) a few years ago and said to the family I won’t be doing it again until I see an improved performance. I have saved several thousand Dollars. In the meantime not just the tigers but the sport has lost supporters from my family.

I say this because imo if a club loses for long enough even the hardest of rusted on supporters start to doubt the clubs ability to return to succes. History tells us that clubs rise and fall and no doubt things will turn for us and SR may be the person to do it but its not going to be in 12 or 24 months.

The muppets before him had several seasons in charge of the club, screwing the pooch from a great height so it’s only reasonable that we give SR a few years to try undo the shit that was left behind.
