Agree 100%, we should be having a red hot go now and some of them will be legally open to offers 1st Nov. while others could ask their club for early release as you mentioned. I’m sure Richo has been very active in the market place while emphasising the war chest, but other clubs have a war chest too.

We signed Skelton without anyone really knowing about it.
This gives me confidence there's legitimately action happening behind the scenes.
Richo is doing what he said he'd do, he just doesn't broadcast it to the scum gossip columnists...
Stay strong just old, I see a light at the end of this tunnel .

Interesting that many on the forum had Skelton as a 'suggested' signing as a player off-contract who fills a critical need for us.

IMO others that the forum has identified are Jack Williams (lock/backrow - hard work, effort, strong, ball skills) & now Daniel Saifiti (prop - effort, leader, yardage, 28yo). Their my tips as the next 2.

All this hate for Bird but I am extremely confident if Richo was to sign him it would be for the right dollars and years.

He would add so much to this team that we lack while these younger kids learn the trade.
Aggression, Experienced, cover multi positions, apparently teammates love him, and he wants to win.

If he is signed, I have no problems with it.

Also, I see Richo must be out of hospital as he was in the pictures for the Club dinner last night,.
