Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I dont think Id bring anymore backs to the club for 2025.
Weve signed three good ones and we do have choices already here. One of the possible lineups could be as follows:
  • 1. Bula
  • 2. Turuva
  • 3. Galvin
  • 4. Olam
  • 5. Skelton
  • 6. Luai
  • 7. Sezer
This list has lots of points in it. Backups include Staines, Laulilii, Fainu, To'a, Faataape, Saukuru, Doueihi, Feledy, Sullivan, Alaimalo.

Get them a specialised backs coach who will re-familiarise them with what it takes to form a cohesive unit.

Now get them some hard working pigs to join Api, Pole, Seyfarth and Sam

Bro.... Galvin to the centres.......

Heard from someone reliable that James Roberts had the worst shoulder of anyone they'd ever seen & that's coming from a medical professional. They said it was a miracle he was playing for WT's every week & needed weekly injections for the pain.

That would be impressive.

When I went to the surgeon for my shoulder his opening line was “thanks for doing such a great job and keeping me employed”. The consult went to 3mins - he just said “you’re getting a recon and several ligaments reattached, see you at the hospital”

Post op visit 10 days after - he said “I need a seat and a glass of water to read the report” he then read out 23 things that he had to be fixed up.

Bugger it take both
Both would be great, but what position are we selling to Wishart if we get Hopgood to play 13?
14 is not gunna get him to leave Storm?
Buying a good 14 is a poor decision, I think a 14 you need to develop. I reckon you buy players for the run on side. Is he good enough to hold down another run on position we need to fill? Bcoz a lot on here are saying we got enough backs.

Would anyone consider Ryan Matterson again for an edge spot? (potentially 13)

I personally would find it hard to support him thanks to his past exit, but would there be any value in exploring it if Parra chip in and we get him at a decent price? Hes a flog but was solid when here.
He was one of our best players but I reckon his form has dropped off a cliff
