Have I said that? Are you putting that all on Galvin?
We won't even mention Brooksy. 🤣DCE missed finals more then he made finals over his 10 year deal
Based off your logic he hasn’t been effective either
Could be argued we are not expansive enough, often enough..When it does happen we worry the opposition, I don’t see it happen enough.
Depends who the halves are and how much people like them. Are they all really that awful? Or have they not been fed effectively?
I kind of agree. But you did point out- jamming in is what you do when facing an overlap- 5 on 3 on this occasion. Doueihi did just that, while Galvin was sliding. Alaimalo probably should have committed when Doueihi committed as well, but I didn't see Alaimalo commit once..Knights got a massive overlap
Doueihi jammed in and hoped they would hit the short ball and they didn’t so that’s his fault
Galvin probably should’ve done better then he did but it’s a tough situation to be in
This is from Fletcher Sharpes 4th try with 24 minutes to go in the second half if I am talking about the wrong one please let me know
Good post.Galvin does get turned around in circles but that is an easy fix over the off season. Plenty of young halves look like muppets in defence early in their careers. Cleary, Foran and Munster are the only current halves I can recall who had no holes in their defensive games. The rest of them - Moses, DCE, Hughes, Reynolds, Hynes, Hunt, Brooks, etc. all had embarrassing moments as young blokes. I remember Brooks being a turnstile, now one of the most reliable defenders in the game.
It seems we have hit an impass. Try and argue your points without the abuse in future and the discussions go smoother.Or or maybe just maybe you could show me since as you said yourself you are the one coming with the claim so it is on you to back it up
Obviously never being able to spend big dollars on big players isn't great.it has the potential to lock some players into longer contracts then desired.
I mean if you look at the maths of it.
Each team is required to spend 97.5% of their salary cap.
There is only 30 players to a salary cap.
So each year we decide to frontload; we are effectively making our squad weaker and weaker until we eventually land a bevy of Marquees that all that saved cap money is spent on. All the while hoping that the players that have been given long term contracts with the (front loaded bonus) continue to develop on course or better in an overall weaker side based on talent.
I’ll rephrase. It’s fantastic for a top club to do this to ensure they have a gun side when the time is right.
I’m sure you remember the Cronulla Salary cap scandal for 2015 and 2017 but the premiership winning 2016 season was compliant. Case in point.
So for a struggling club continuing to front load to build up a war chest that no one wants a part of. It’s the worst thing that can happen.
Did anyone read today about Jack Bird and the Tigers is he worth a spot in the 30 ?
That bloke misses a lot of footy. H'll never be on the park if he comes here.Did anyone read today about Jack Bird and the Tigers is he worth a spot in the 30 ?
Not seen that..Did anyone read today about Jack Bird and the Tigers is he worth a spot in the 30 ?
It’s actually quite sad the amount of time he’s spent on the parkThat bloke misses a lot of footy. H'll never be on the park if he comes here.
9 season for 154 games....
Let's hope young Fainu has a better run with injuries next year. If he can stay on the park, it gives the team so many more options.Good post.
For some reason some posters assume you hate the player for finding fault with their games....
Lachlan is not a long term prospect in the 6 at this club. What is wrong with beginning the transition early? Fainu and Sezer can help Luai out whilst Galvin can assist out wider. I think he'll cause havoc as a centre running off Luai with Turuva outside him.
Yeah, he looks likely but we really havent seen enough to judge him.Let's hope young Fainu has a better run with injuries next year. If he can stay on the park, it gives the team so many more options.
He had a terrible time with injury at the Broncs but thought he had been much more consistent on the field since. That bloke misses a lot of footy. H'll never be on the park if he comes here.

Don't tease me he would be massiveI know its not a popular signing option but I can't help but think Tyrell May will announced as another signing. Don't burn me at the stake but I just have a feeling, seeming a few other Panthers are coming next year. I can also imagine Luai being in Marshall's ear.
Very talented and a rough bugger. Could have been anything. It’s actually quite sad the amount of time he’s spent on the park
Had the ability to play multiple positions well
