WTF ??? 🤬Navren Willett to sign with Manly for next season, T&T then into top 30 in 2026!
We must be releasing him as I'm sure he was contracted top us for next season.
As we often say, can't keep em all!

I haven’t seen him play but with his size maybe develops into a back rower in time? If he was any decent on the wing you’d think he would have got a chance to play this year with all the injuriesBugger. Was very raw but I had hopes he would develop down the track for us. Have to wonder where he fits in at Manly as their back 5 is full of quality and all quite young. Can't see much movement in the coming years.
He came from up here playing with the taree bulls, with some of the mongs Marshall has rolled out this year, I'm surprised he hasn't given him a go, surprised we've let him goWas Willet highly rated? Haven’t heard of him before but I’m not much into the juniors
From what I have seen of Nav, good in the air, not overly fast, doesn't make big yards from kick returns as only lanky at this stage but does possess good ball skills and can chime into the backline well. I reckon he's a fullback. Was Willet taking a top 30 slot? If so Richo has had a look and doesn't think hes worth it. Ive never seen the kid play so dont have a clue about his ability.
This was the article on MSN. It states that Galvin's management made a series of release requests. Galvin is quoted as follows -2 separate articles today about rumours of players wanting to move clubs (Mitchell Moses and Galvin) basically having no merit. Roosters denying they have even considered or spoken to Moses and Galvin basically saying it was fake news he ever wanted out.
Consistent factor in the 2 original situations though being Isaac Moses as player Manager. Never a shortage of noise and rumours around him.
Yeah I am thinking Richo is working overtime in the background. A bit of shuffling at all levels.Nav’s a wonderfully talented footballer but he was externally recruited by Sheens and McDonnell and as a result this was always a chance of happening, especially now considering Skelton has just pushed him further down the depth chart.
with Craig reportedly heading to Penrith and Willett now gone, something tells me Richardson is tinkering with development contracts.
I guess the player released has to be attractive to a potential buyer to make it a certainty. From what I have seen of Nav, good in the air, not overly fast, doesn't make big yards from kick returns as only lanky at this stage but does possess good ball skills and can chime into the backline well. It annoyed him a bit…yet he’s talking about it again 🤮2 separate articles today about rumours of players wanting to move clubs (Mitchell Moses and Galvin) basically having no merit. Isaac Moses is a cancer within the NRL. Absolute scumbag like his cousin.2 separate articles today about rumours of players wanting to move clubs (Mitchell Moses and Galvin) basically having no merit. Isaac, how nice of you to join our forum. My crystal ball hasn't cleared yet but his determination to move remains unwavering.

Never understood the hype around him, watched him a few times and he let bombs bounce or bumbled them a few times, was as thin as a toothpick and looked average when returning the ball, no loss, Luke L craps all over him. From what I have seen of Nav, good in the air, not overly fast, doesn't make big yards from kick returns as only lanky at this stage but does possess good ball skills and can chime into the backline well. How'd you figure that....we're up 2 smthg
"Depth signing" means not the top 2 or 3 in their position, they will be NSW Cup signings.I could be wrong, but when he says depth signings I was under the impression that means players new to the club, not re-signings from within ?
Either we definitely need Sikne Fainu re-signed and we definitely need Fonua Pole’s contract extended.
I’m not sold on re-signing Sezer unless we are confident he can ably play a 13 and 9 type role off the bench?
I compare their progress against that of Tim Brasher. I know that is harsh for the two you mentioned but realistic. Makasini appears to be a special talent.Never understood the hype around him, watched him a few times and he let bombs bounce or bumbled them a few times, was as thin as a toothpick and looked average when returning the ball, no loss, Luke L craps all over him.
