Loved Leichhardt tonight. Was not at all confident about tonight and then sitting with my manly mate down 16-0 watching brooks have a good time...then it all turned, crowd really got going, huge celebration at the end. You just can't beat that ground.

I get people booing brooks but it's not at all the same as Moses, woods, Brasher, Morrison. We low balled him and he got a great contract from Manly. And then we sign the Fainus and Galvin is now playing 5/8 on a small contract with luai on the way. Brooks and Manly did us a massive favour. We should applaud them.

No matter what happens in regards to for and against , spoon or no spoon , winning in 2 weeks , and going into round 1 next year having not lost since July 24 has to be the objective . Thats a real confidence boost no matter what happens with the spoon .

Just like last week in previous seasons we lose that game and probably comfortably, but with effort we stayed in the game. We gave ourselves the chance to take the opportunity when they presented, I think I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. Two more wins than our last 2 seasons or 50% more wins and potentially more to come.

That contract looks good in 24. Might look ok in 25 . But 26,27 there’s no chance there’s not endless articles about wtf manly were thinking …

I thought 8 wins was probably par with this roster and we could end up with 7. In reality I think we’re on course to contest for the top eight next year. Just need a few solid forwards.

I reckon Faatape could potentially start for us next year. He’s getting better and better…has a great attitude. I like him a lot.

He starts a lot of games with bad D, but he seems to adjust well during the game. Effort player that is ideally our 3rd centre but with some work you could be right

whatever you think about Marshall as a coach, it is undeniable the spirit and belief he has instilled in this playing group. for us to come back from 16-0 down against the team running 6th while languishing in dead last is an incredible feat.

not much else to say besides the fact that we need to start Sione, Twal, Pole and Seyfarth next year, cut them the tape of tonight and tell them that is what is required at minimum every week. if they do that our spine will do the rest.

I have to say that I thought they could and would run us down anytime they wanted to, but they just kept stuffing up their opportunities. The sin bins reminded me of us and I was sure we would blow it even after them. Footy gods on our side tonight - enjoy it as it doesn’t happen often.
If we could just defend who knows!!

Live it up while you can. I can’t remember a game where we got the rub of the green so often. Felt like we were in the ten all the first half and the ref just let it happen. Makes a difference having competitive line speed. Was just waiting for the penalties but they didn’t eventuate. Evened up a little second half. Perhaps the ref didn’t bank on Manly dropping g the ball lol.

He has been a bit flat of late for mine, just as a youngester tailing off near the end of his long first full NRL season, but no doubt about his efforts.

Playing out of position at centre, getting to Turbo in the dying minutes and causing the error to save a try was a supreme effort.

I was at the game and he shutdown Haumole Olakau'atu for the first half and I can cut him some slack for a few misses when thrown out to the centres. I thought Stephano was poor in defence again and should have stopped Turbo. Glad we didn’t pay overs for him. Strong effort with a great atmosphere and Campbelltown will be rocking in a fortnight..

Let’s give the slime their spoon.
