Just watched the highlights of our Flegg win in Fiji at the NSWRL website. Looks like the ball-playing passing game of Iverson Matai & running game of Cayne Nicholas was to the fore in many of our tries.

From what I have seen reported, Onitoni Large is on a pathways contract for another 3-4 years, not sure on Makasini.

Matai has some really silky passing. Hope he can step up to provide some depth in cup. Sullivan and Matai starting the year in cup should improve results.

That play from Large for the first try is very exciting to watch.

He'll sign a multi-year in the off season I'm guessing.
He scored 2 tries few weeks ago he's a freak athlete

I think he’s one we will regret letting go. I know we had to free up space somewhere but the kid is special. The few games I’ve seen him play he had ball skills for a tall lanky kid. Maybe manly see something him similar to a Tommy turbo

I genuinely don't know, he could turn into a Saab/Turbo
or a Kane Bradley/Liam Scolari. His build is really
tall and lanky though (ectomorphic). He's going to
find it difficult to put weight on them bones but he's
definately got some class about him as you mentioned.
For me personally he shirks contact and runs sideways
a bit too much from what I've seen. Good luck to the kid

Some would still say that about Saab tbf while he has ironed out alot of his major flaws he's still a very incomplete player who outside of a team like manly wouldn't look like nrl quality

It's been a long time since the only expectation of a winger was to be fast and score try's in the corner and that's basically all Saab can do, hes just a faster alex Johnston.

There is still a place for them in teams like manly or rabbitohs where they have a fast and creative spine that creates the space for them constantly but in our team he would just be a taller Staines with half the heart
