I think Jack Williams is the pick of the bunchI would take Walker for lock
i would take Bird as a centre
But yeah, more to come it would appear
Confidence is low on Horsbra at the moment though

So what's the big deal.
You know why Harry has left Balmain to rot, it's because after years of pouring money into that backhole he was never even considered to be consulted on the Rozelle redevelopment, he was furious, came out in the media and explicitly stated that with Meritons contacts the Rozelle development would have been completed ages ago and Balmain leagues would be flourishing, instead they allowed themselves to be swindled. Harry had thrown who knows how much over the years in support of Balmain for the muppets on the board to treat him like that was a massive kick in the rear, anyone with 2 braincells would have done the exact same thing. He has said numerous times if Wests Tigers ever need help he's there.Harry Triguboff has been the great white whale for this club for decades, always the supposed answer to any financial problems. In that time, Balmain has gone bust with its club falling into ruin, we’ve nearly been run out of Leichhardt half a dozen times because the place is falling down, we had to lean on the state government to get a training facility built and I don’t know how many players have left or not signed because there are sweeter deals on offer elsewhere. At what point will you twig that just maybe Harry isn’t actually that bothered, or at least not to the point that he’s going to separate himself from the thing he really cares about ie his beloved money?
LOL taking after the late great EVHHis son's name is Wolfy? What? 🤣
Actually don’t think Bird is a bad signing at all if he’s used in the role Kurt Mann has played for the doggies this year. 35-40 as the lock, just busting his ass and contributing to moving the ball around the park and creating second phase. If we’ve got him then it’s obviously less than the 600 he would’ve got for the dragons
Honestly as a Tigers supporter am I the only one who finds the end of season the most exciting time with all the possibilities around signings and roster changes.Think what we will see this week is a couple of players on top 30s farewelled to open up spots. At the moment with Hunt we have 29 signed plus Tumeth with a player option so be interesting to see who actually leaves
Hard to fathom why they wouldnt have embraced Harry as a stalwart of the club, but then again, hardly suprising looking over the debarcle that has ensued with Balmain operations. They were totally incompetent and inept, it's proven with the lovely building they left behind for all their members, noone would have done that intentionally I believe they thought they were doing what's best for the joint, but it just proves they were in over their head. Meriton should have got involved as soon as the State govt started talking about looking at the site, wether anything would be diffrent who knows, but with Meritons contacts in state and fed govt the result would have been much better and the board would have got sound advice because Harry really does love BalmainHard to fathom why they wouldnt have embraced Harry as a stalwart of the club, but then again, hardly suprising looking over the debarcle that has ensued.
I’m also a fan of Jack Williams.I think Jack Williams is the pick of the bunch

he won’t entertain it. he’s going to Souths to be Walker’s successor. Was hoping we'd be looking at Schuster at some stage
looks like Bird is the next piece.
he's played for his state, he's won a premiership,
He hasn’t missed much at all with the Dragons. All his absence through injury was at the Broncos earlier in his career. I think that preserved his body a bit for these later years….anyway, I’m hoping!looks like Bird is the next piece.
he's going to divide the fanbase and I have massive concerns about his durability, but the facts are these.
he's played for his state, he's won a premiership, has played a number of positions and he's experienced the lowest chasms rugby league possesses. he has managed to come out the other side of it, not to mention dealing with rheumatoid arthritis. unlike Doueihi, he's actually willing to put his body on the line.
I won't be unhappy if he comes across, but again it all comes down to how many games he plays a season. availability is your best ability.
Versatile players are hard to come by, I think he’s a good signing as long as we haven’t paid him too much.looks like Bird is the next piece.

Agree 100% Utter neglect by those in charge. Makes you wonder what actually could have been if someone was switched on with a strong business brain and ethics. They were totally incompetent and inept, it's proven with the lovely building they left behind for all their members, noone would have done that intentionally I believe they thought they were doing what's best for the joint, but it just proves they were in over their head. I think it will start something like:What are people’s starting and bench rotation forward pack looking for next year? Interest to see.
