Do you mean right now?IMHO, Koroibete >> JAC
I think the link was to the Castleford Tigers ESLZerotackle has us linked with Dejean Asi (5/8 and halfback) from Parramatta coming to us.
Having JAC on a low value contract for 2 years would be huge for us. He is still super quick.IMHO, Koroibete >> JAC
I think we need to wait for better. He had a good finish to the year and in some ways fits the profile of type of player we need, but hes fresh off an ACL and about to leave his 5th club. Manly arent exactly stacked with front rowers either.Yeah I’ve seen the footage and I wanted to take him out too, but I’ve concluded he’s a changed man.
He’s not an Andrew O’Keefe figure.
Big with a good attitude these days, Well liked and respected by team mates.
Worth the risk.
Times are tough in the pack.
He’s average and obviously unliked by a few clubs. We need better, be patient, the fruit will fall from the tree after nov 1, and we don’t have many spots.Yeah I’ve seen the footage and I wanted to take him out too, but I’ve concluded he’s a changed man.

Is NAS available?Missing out on Horsbra sucks, but we really need to go after NAS. He’s the type of forward you pay for especially for our team:
1. He brings the intimidation factor. Players fear him, he’s the biggest bloke in the NRL.
2. He can play big mins and maintain consistent work output. He is a leader of men
3. Versatile can play prop, lock or backrow! Great offloading ability and a genuine try scorer
No question.IMHO, Koroibete >> JAC
hope he can stay in EnglandForgot about him.
Prob replace Bateman if that deal can be worked out.
A lot of the English fans are begging him to play another year for the Wolves.
Think that pack isn't quite there yet, competitively.
Agree with lodge, apparently he is only on around $250.000 at Manly, he would be what we want at minimal cost compared to what Stef was on.After spoon bowl, I’m declaring the roster to be a state of emergency.
Accordingly, certain unsavoury measures must be enacted.
So I declare I’m with @bptiger 0 on the Lodge proposition
He is exactly what we need atm.
Liam Martin??Neither played semi finals this year or last.

Is that us or them?Good sides have super quick line speed in defence. While we have the likes of Klemmer and Twal that’s not going to happen. You can probably carry one, but these days it’s speed and power in defence wins you games
I read somewhere after my post that Flanno was keen on him, so that was pleasing. Flanno is only going to buy players he think has the right stuff.Agree with lodge, apparently he is only on around $250.000 at Manly, he would be what we want at minimal cost compared to what Stef was on.
And the Dogs brought them back into the game with their bad erros late in the gameI read somewhere after my post that Flanno was keen on him, so that was pleasing. Flanno is only going to buy players he think has the right stuff.
It didn’t surprise me that Manly came over the top, Seibs has them trained for that. Whatever they do, they will outlast their opponents physically, because he trains them physically and mentally for resilience. It was showcased last weekend.
Yes.And the Dogs brought them back into the game with their bad erros late in the game
I totally agree, WE need to punt a stack of our "young and inexperienced"...There are supposedly a few kids with lots of promise. Thing is, you can’t compete with potential in the elite comp of the most brutal sport in the world. The balance at WT is skewed too heavily to young and inexperienced players, and they’re all on six figures in the top 30 having done nothing yet. If the club loses a few of them, so be it. In reality all the kids and juniors won’t make it, the club needs to cull and ensure they’ve got what they need in the the positions of need.
