Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I watched Bateman play for Warrington won 66-0 and still managed to look ordinary he's cooked bro

Can't predict the future bro, I genuinely feel he has
another gear and mentioned earlier how he can stoop
to a certain level and rise. Worst case scenario is
we save money, best case he comes back & honours us

So what’s the go with RCG anyway? He’s leaving Parramatta, turned St George down but wants to remain in Sydney. Seemingly no interest from us so who is he looking at? Roosters, Dogs, a return to Penrith maybe? I’ve heard nothing since he turned St George down. We should go all out to land him I reckon. He would top off our pack nicely, though he probably doesn’t want to come here.
I like Odessa’s theory that RCG to Panthers, To’o to Tigers. That’s why no news on RCG yet as Panthers still alive in finals. Bring it!

You're mistaking him for the young kid we had a
few years ago, from bradford bulls, semi fenya or
some such. He didn't last a season out here...

That whole thing was weird. He was a Jnr England Rep. We signed him for 3 years, did some training with first grade and from memory played a game of Flegg off the bench, then a month later was back in England with no explanation from anyone. Off his insta he didnt seem to play league anymore.

Yeah Rowdy, the streets called his number...

Is Bird seen as an upgrade for Doueihi or they play different roles? With Latu on the bench it's hard to see how he gets back into the team idk bro
Only role I see for AD is back up centre...and defence needs to improve markedly
Weve got halves covered.and he aint a forward or full back
Just not sure he fits in
Misplaced loyalty on our part..shl have severed the umbilical this past season

I think AD may move on if someone else would have him. His problem is his knee didnt actually look fixed, seems he's still having swelling or something along those lines. I can actually see him going to union.

Yeah..lateral mobility is a problem..unlike;ly to be fixed.Shame,,was a good player 4 us,but game moves on
I see him retiring after this WTs contract expires
Gotta be ruthless on these things..misguided loyalty just cost us another cple of years in the coaching dept..no more pls

Really...?
Bateman is a current England international
Paps pretty much the same in NZ..and the only forward with any semblance of fear factor we have
,,and Stefano was in Blues squad last season...based entirely on potential I know, but theyre indeed the facts..which we prefer to deal in from this end ...
No..we dont do "sales pitches" as you ascribe
And by contesting minutia,of whether they were or were not.or whatever... You miss the entire point
.. Weve lost 3 genuine NRL forwards or better, that need to be replaced
A bench player from Broncos doesnt quite do it,unless he brings a few buddies with him
Atm backs improving but ,forward pack is going backwards
But ...off season to come
I conceed on issah, he is a loss.

Stef is not - he didn't put in and didn't deliver, not once. He isn't even in the top 10 props in the comp. As a prop his job was to take hit ups, make metres and make tackles. He doesn't need field position to do that. The props do the hard yards. I saw bugger all of that from him this year. So did the origin selectors, because he wasn't effective.

Bateman is staying, so it's a mute point.
