Yeah he would but Lodge is off contract + an enforcer that is lacked in this pack. Worth a 2-3 year deal IMO

I’d take him. He’s a much different guy. Met him while at Brisbane. Quite a chill guy - seems to have grown up. Still a decent middle. We need another forward even if we managed this. Paseka was mentioned but has signed long term deal.

oh i'd take paseka any day, that guy is a beast.
He doesn't seem to fit in at Manly
He is a backup player
I rate him, he'd be a good signing for us.
Puts in effort on the field and in the gym too.
Would be a smart move.

He's Liam Martin lite.
High workrate, high intensity, hectic trainer and highly dependable.
Great, underwhelming on paper but high value output signing.
Would be an excellent get imo.

I'm supporting Richo and Benji and their recruitment plan to get us off the bottom and be a competitive team long term. They are already being position selective as to who comes on board, all aimed towards a long term objective.
Season 2025 under Luai - committed for 5 years as leader - is where the "winning" starts and once that happens, the young ones will know there really is a path to the top.
And there's pathways.

Maybe a loan deal would be attractive to the Roosters for next season as a like-for-like fill-in for Sam Walker on full freight. Would put him in a good system & in the shop window for his final 2 years of contract. Saves Roosters a roster spot. Otherwise don't know who else would take him if he doesn't want to go to the UK.
