Maybe Peter Gentle as acting head coach of the Brisbane Broncos from 26 August 2020 following the resignation of Anthony Seibold.

Ivan Henjak also coached Brisbane 2009 - 2010 but he was born in Croatia - is that in Qld? 🤣

Well, whatever one thinks of Kevvie or players going public with their assessments of whether a coach can coach or not, one thing for sure, we know Benji probably can't coach but the players are backing him and signing up...............so let's hope they pull out all stops to get winning so as to keep him in the job.

Madge is a modern day Roy Masters.

Gets strong outfits with a commited edge over it.

Our side wasn't good enough and Brisbane is barely better.

I'd stay NSW/NZ coach if I were him.

It's a role he's entirely suited for.

The Madge critics love to conveniently ignore the anvil attached to him when he came to the club. Salary cap in pieces and tied up for at least three years, having to run signings by a committee that included the like of Pascoe and Hartigan, dealing with Lee sabotaging potential signings (JAC, Pangai Jr) and Sheens all but white anting him.

When we finally got some of the Cleary signings off the books, it was Madge who signed Api and Paps who were top three in their positions at the time. Never even got to coach them.

We need a coach that will toughen up our team. Benji is not that coach.Look at all the top teams. They can all play tough. WT can do in very short patches.

Think we win 3 nil with a better coach. But he did a decent job with the Blues. I read an interesting article where one of the pundits were talking about the difference between club coaching and campaign coaching and how different it is. Said some coaches aren't suited to one or the other, said it's some coaches can't seem to have their message and work sunk in over a long period of time, where others like Bellamy couldn't adapt the long term style of coaching into the rep arena. Think with NZ and NSW Maguire might just be that campaign style of coach
