Don't be surprised if we see Douihi sign with the Broncos come next year. Source close to Madge said that he gave him a call last week as he has worked under him at the Tigers and Rabbits and is a big fan.

I think you will get a lot of love for that last bit.Jason Taylor was hired by Grant Mayer after a stitch up report that was produced for the club by Brian Smith. it was before Pascoe and Lee. Marina Go was still Chair. The club was pretty broke in those days because Balmain had gone tits up. At that time the club had next to nothing for its football department, and the amount of cap money being paid to players not at the club was absolutely eye watering.
The clubs problems began when Stephen Humphries began paying overs and back-ending contracts in 2009. Yea we had a couple of terrific seasons in 10/11, but Injuries and cap issues followed the risky moves in roster management and its been problematic getting the balance right ever since.
We've never had that situation where we have great juniors maturing while having a healthy cap. Pascoe's greatest 'contribution' was sacking Jason Taylor having backed him against Robbie Farah the season before. He should have been sacked then. For what he did with our cap afterwards he should have gone to prison.
AD was at South's 2018 and 2019.Don't be surprised if we see Douihi sign with the Broncos come next year. Source close to Madge said that he gave him a call last week as he has worked under him at the Tigers and Rabbits and is a big fan.
Bird has been training for some time.Players return to training at Concord on Monday next week. It will be the top 30 squad minus those playing internationals & those long-serving players (Klemmer, Api, Olam & Twal) & players in finals (Royce Hunt) whilst I think T&T players join in from then too.
I'm sure WT content guys will be supplying images so will be interesting if we see Bud, Naden & AD for obvious reasons & also whether Jack Bird wants to get straight into it with his new team (or whether he is in the long-serving contingent returning a week or so later).
He could have left Hastings at 7 instead of trying to convert him to a 13, IMHO Madge is a one dimensional coach with no plan BNot so easy for tigers until this year given Cleary bending our cap out of shape with poor purchases on long terms deals

Madge finished up 2017.
I seem to recall Maguire recruited Doueihi to Souths. This sentence from the article appears to confirm it.Don't be surprised if we see Douihi sign with the Broncos come next year. Aren't the Dragons reported to be interested in him?Doueihi ain't leaving his parents home either haha
Haha funny [This word has been automatically removed] that would be awesome!Forum moderators, can you look at deploying an AI to summaries "what ive missed" since I last visited this thread?
I think that depends on Hunt. If he leaves then yes.Aren't the Dragons reported to be interested in him?
Thanks mate. I read this article in the SMH about Hunt. He's been a great player for their club.I think that depends on Hunt. If he leaves then yes.

Have seen Jack Bird doing sprint training with Roger Fabri in maroubra over the last few weeks. So doing extras early.Players return to training at Concord on Monday next week. Seems to have a great attitude mentally tough from so many injuries he's come back from.Have seen Jack Bird doing sprint training with Roger Fabri in maroubra over the last few weeks. So doing extras early.
I’m pretty sure Maguire was big on AD when he was a Balmain junior , and brought him across to Souths . I remember it being apart of the narrative when AD came back .AD was at South's 2018 and 2019.

If Mam goes Madge might go for Douehi instead of Hunt. 8 years younger and would cost a lot less.Yeah paws, apparently. But what Ecto said, if they
lose Hunt they'll probably make a play. Can see Ezra's
contract being torn up, Hunt to Bronx, Doueihi to
Dragons - can see a world where that can happen,
he hasn't been happy at Dragons for years now mate
and we're still hearing stories about him. The other
thing to consider is that they have no cap room so
realistically will have to let go of a big name/juniors
Madge also recruited and was a big fan of both Brent Naden & Starford To'a. We can only hope he still is.Don't be surprised if we see Douihi sign with the Broncos come next year.
