A decision at some stage will have to be made on Latu Fainu & his role at the club, and that might effect that backrow spot.

If Fainu doesn't start playing 1st grade, realistically there's going to be a push for him to move elsewhere. That could in turn damage our chances of holding his brothers.

Or.... Galvin could go back to playing second row like he did in the Harold Matts winning side. And then we don't have a back row problem.

I see the logic and in the next 18-24 months I can see some difficult choices being made. But im thinking short term (next season). In my mind Bateman is gone, which would leave Seyfarth and Samuela as our 2 backrow options. Even with Bateman we are so thin there

As long as if he doesn't have any off field issues I'm fine with this, he was terrible for samoa on the weekend though. I wouldn't be paying big money. Not sure him or Royce Hunt are that pack leader we need, and neither is Pole or an ageing klemmer

Easts who are loosing a stack of players (guessing this is May related, so they won't count).
