100%Our Prima Donnas complained because Madge tried to train them too hard (including our current coach),it's funny when the boot is on the other foot and now Benji wants them to train harder(which we ALWAYS should have done)

Yea I thought it would Dogs, Tigers & possibly Dragons in the lead for himHave listened to the boys for a long time and their knowledge is in their tagline “unqualified opinion and unwavering bias”
That most recent podcast name will look ridiculous in a couple weeks to come. I didn’t even get to that trade part yet. Got a better chance of the snake coming out of retirement
Agree on Galvin. Don't mind if he's winning, but he shouldn't be winning by a landslide like last year.I did a tour of the Panthers COE earlier this year. Usually Dylan Edward’s leads all their endurance based training but they were saying they had a young bloke in SG ball that was now leading.
I don’t think Galvin being the fittest is a problem, its just making sure that individually they are all meeting higher standards.
They're not going to take our scraps. The Roosters go for bigger fish.Could the Roosters be interested in Twal as a swap for May and also be interested in Doueihi as someone capable of playing 5/8 or centre, positions they look to be very light on heading into the 2025 season?
I’m not so sure May offers much if anything more than Twal and I’d also be keeping Doueihi unless we can find someone other than Api who can kick goals.

I’m not opposed to us trying to sign Terrell May, but if you break things down, what does he actually do that is any better than Alex Twal ?They're not going to take our scraps. The Roosters go for bigger fish.

More than likely Maguire is just trying to show them there's a new sheriff in townMan you can’t maintain the rage for 6 months . To train that hard , that early , is not proven to work . It burns people out .
If anyone has ever done the training for the barrier test / carter course , it builds up over a 16 week training program , so you’re peaking just before the carter course / sas selection begins (the nrl season) .
I get what Madge is doing , but he will need to back off in a few weeks , or he will lose the dressing room , real quick.
Each to their own , but just from my own personal experience , I watched guys go hell for leather doing the pre selection training , and by week 12 they were done . Either injured , or mentally burnt out . It builds for a reason .
Our issue at the tigers is I don’t think we started from a strong base , so I think we did build but not to a good enough standard . We need to lift standards . I’m not convinced that’s achieved by burning everyone out in week 1 .
Exactly. With the exception of Junior Pauga haha
re JAC...Agreed. Somewhere around that $400k a year range I'd imagine, even for an 'aging' player.
Dolphins are the last club that would need JAC, they already have Isaako, Bostock and Junior Tupou.re JAC...
I would imagine that the Dolphins will pick him up OR whatever new club is starting in WA.
A good highly experienced back who can help teach wing's/Fullback a few tricks of the game.
You would hope our outside back recruitment strategy would involve targeting big, tall, fast, athletic athletes who can bust tackles, have the speed to make line breaks and score long range tries.Front runner for JAC is Parramatta. Apparently he had a meeting with Ryles over the weekend.
Wish we were cheating* Behind a superstar team and proven cheating.
Absolutely mate. WestsTigers are only in the top 4 every year because they are cheating. I would take that from every other fan in the gameWish we were cheating
Two completely different styles of player.I’m not opposed to us trying to sign Terrell May, but if you break things down, what does he actually do that is any better than Alex Twal ?
Amongst some highly physical and aggressive forwards Twal’s reliability and workrate becomes very valuable.
Of course the Roosters will throw their hat in the ring to try and sign Leo Thompson, but with nearly every NRLclub lining up for his services, they nor any other club will get him for under his market value like they generally expect.
I heard he’s got one with us this week, anyone else hear this?Front runner for JAC is Parramatta. Apparently he had a meeting with Ryles over the weekend.
Terrell is far more aggressive, makes much more impact, can break tackles and offload, while still tackling effectively. Twal is a workhorse but the second an opponent touches him he falls to the ground like a sack of spuds.I’m not opposed to us trying to sign Terrell May, but if you break things down, what does he actually do that is any better than Alex Twal ?
