We're coming from a long way back, PR-wise.
We need to be throwing the feel-good content out like it's going out of fashion.

Seems to be the theme with him, he will thrash his squad for 5 years then they're all tapped out. You get him in hoping you can win something in that time or move him on. I'm interested to see if he signs any big name players, that was always the media's knock on him that he couldn't attract any big names to the Tigers, I'm really interested to see if it was just us or him aswell.
It's very easy to tell apart the players that grew up with footy in their hands as opposed to bigger than average kids that fell into the game. The Fainu bros all seem to fall into the former camp, some of the skills Samuela displayed last year were amazing.absolutely elite ballplaying from a man who has no right to have a pass like that in his wheelhouse.
we desperately need a player of his quality in the middle.
He had no cap space to attract players. The first year he did he signed Api and Papali'i, both players who had played under him previously and neither were paid well above market value to get them here. We've never before or since have a coach do that.Seems to be the theme with him, he will thrash his squad for 5 years then they're all tapped out. I know at times we haven’t agreed on thoughts of players but May is already miles ahead of Twal. He averaged 110mtrs & 97.75% tackle effectivness mostly off the bench this year in a packed forward rotation. He is a workhorse but a big body quality one that has size and some speed. Add in offloads and some try scoring as well. He had a career jump season that Twal could only dream of.
If May is an option we would be bonkers not putting our hat in the ring for the right price.
I like Twal and want to keep him but May is far superior player of the 2 now.
This.I like Terrell May as a player, but he’s basically said he doesn’t feel like playing at times, and that’s at a top 4 club.
A few losses here and is he going to feel like playing.
Is he ready for Richo’s crocodile roll?
Madge got Api and Paps to us when he finally had a cap to use and work with, the main problem was always the duds that Cleary left with us on long overpaid contracts.
I find it hard to believe we wouldn't give him an upgrade of $500k on each of his two remaining seasons. If he doesn't take that, he's as good as gone.This...I'd say the club I'd genuinely worried
Roberts was not playing at SOO level before he came here,at his best he was but that was in the past.No other club was after him which is why we got him cheap as we had no cap to get anybody decent.BJ would have only came because his brother was here.It was Cleary's crazy deals plus ineptitude at management level which destroyed our cap for years.Cmon Jason Taylor was going to do that. He would have resigned the Big 4 till the boardroom destroyed it all *sic*.
We all talk about giving Madge 5 years, why not give Taylor a 3rd? Plus if it doesn't work, the new coach will be able to choose his entire team...
Truth is Madge choose Roberts and BJ. Neither worked and Roberts went from SOO level to barely first grade.
At some point we need tougher love. Holding onto Madge as he coaches Brisvegas is nuts.
Seriously the missed opportunity was Shane Flanagan. He has taken St George from bottom to almost making the 8 with a worse roster then ours. Had we brought Flanno in we would have seen him take over instead of Brett K.
Yes May is superior stat wise in every way.
Melbourne, Easts, Cronulla are all thinking Culture and team fit.
May is inferior to Twal in that way which keeps people looking for a different club.
We need forward replacements. The time to sign a player like May is when you have an injury but expect to be in the top 4.
If he can't cope with Easts coming 4th and is making enough trouble that they want to punt him (and they have heaps of players leaving , so the cap space is there). Take the hint.
Let Madge, Bennett or Bellamy sign him. They will be able to manage him and throw him out if he does stupid stuff. Todd Payten may be able to handle him, Benji is still a rookie coach and can't handle Bateman.
Look great player, not a great fit for our team with a Rookie coach.
More us than him, but the 2 combined not likely to be a great success.Seems to be the theme with him, he will thrash his squad for 5 years then they're all tapped out. I think they'll upgrade him if he commits to an extension. If he's going to leave and not commit, why would we park money in that contract when we can shuffle it elsewhere?I find it hard to believe we wouldn't give him an upgrade of $500k on each of his two remaining seasons. If he doesn't take that, he's as good as gone.
LOL except the coach who got the current NSW 5/8 .He had no cap space to attract players. The first year he did he signed Api and Papali'i, both players who had played under him previously and neither were paid well above market value to get them here. We've never before or since have a coach do that.
Or 29 yrs old and very very little good footy left in himWhat about Addo-Carr? 29 yrs old - lots of great footy left in him.

Is that you Josh? What about Addo-Carr? 29 yrs old - lots of great footy left in him.
Don't you think it's dependent on the contract that's signed as to whether it would be considered a good signing?Or 29 yrs old and very very little good footy left in him
It would need to be cheap.Don't you think it's dependent on the contract that's signed as to whether it would be considered a good signing?
For example, I'm no fan of Bateman, but at the right price I'm ok with it.
Gee if u went throw must players , u would not sign many , So u would be happen him going to the dogs , the dragons, raiders and make them stronger , but we stay at the bottom because u THINK he has a bad attitude , if the NRL will register them then we should sign them100%.
BUYER BEWARE!
He has potential but don’t think he’s for us. Don’t need the bad attitude.
