But we will be lucky to get off the bottom of the ladder. 🤣Yes, but...
There is a big difference between:
Innocent
and
Lucky to get off.
We should not hire "lucky to get off".

That lot are even worse than what we had this year , we got to get a mongrel to partner samual in the backrowSecond row options: Sam Fainu, Seyfarth, Bird, Sukkar 😬 (Bateman?)
Would think about testing Tim Johansen there if we don’t buy anyone
What exactly are you trying to refute with my comment?
I just said the club is genuinely worried about losing Galvin so they are adding halves which makes sense.
Yeah the dogs have won plenty of premierships the last 20 years haven't theyLook up the contract status of Joseph O’Neil. He is their junior HB that won the Jersey Flegg the year prior and almost got the NSWCup to the finals this year. Played 1 or two trial games off the bench for first grade at the start of the year. Not on a 2025 dev contract, not on a first grade contract but I guarantee he will be still be at the dogs next year.
Though behind him is 2024 jf winner Cassius Tia and 2024 SGball grandfinalist Mitch Woods.
Mitch Woods is the only HB at the dogs with a ‘known’ contract.
Btw all three would be higher regarded than Jayden Sullivan for instance.
Oh and Alex Conti is still there.
Dogs just get it.

Reckon Gus had the same mantra at the Panthers.Do you realise a club like the Dogs has 2-3 top quality halves in every age group comp? They've got 6-7 genuine first grade prospects through Cup, Flegg and Ball. We basically have none other than Haywood.
Every squad needs 5 halves minimum.
Dogs were top 3 in every grade too btw
right so why not release the squad info after it’s been arranged for 25?your sooooooo stupid. it would have been finalised between all parties, just awaiting announcement by the new club.
Or, the press comes to them after seeing Bateman has been removed from our squad list on the WT website…... or, they are already well aware of what is going on and are waiting for announcements to be made before they go the the press
Halves academy has been mentioned as being set up similarly to the Panthers at the Bulldogs since Gus.Reckon Gus had the same mantra at the Panthers.
Had some Halves academy out there, Think it went with him to the Dogs though.
He's about the only bloke in the game I've heard of that has seen the shortage coming for the last 10+
and looked to do anything about it.

I dislike Gus so much I wish he was at the Tigers.Reckon Gus had the same mantra at the Panthers.

I agree.im calling it, next year the Bulldogs will go backwards i honestly believe this year was a fluke, teams will have figured them out...there squad is not that good!! yes i know we came last but i think most teams have improved for next year including us.. yes they have the 2nd rower come centre from the roosters and the prop from the UK but i actually dont think they are that good..

Are you suggesting Galvin is locked up and definitely past his initial contract? Are you willing to bet $100k on it?how are the club genuinely worried? Like what indicates that?
Jaxson Rahme will surprise many as edge backrower - ex tigers SG Ball player, Holy Cross junior, ex Aus schoolboys who was with Souths and Newcastle. Only 20 years old - 100KG, 185cm.Second row options: Sam Fainu, Seyfarth, Bird, Sukkar 😬 (Bateman?)

K no real disagreement.Point out to me where I ever said anxiety isn’t real. I can assure you, without giving too much away, that I’m far more qualified to talk on the topic of anxiety and mental health than probably most on this forum.
The “football anxiety” excuse would carry some weight be it wasn’t just one of a million excuse used for Brooks. When his moron supporters were going as far as to blame the height of his winger for his shit passes, you know they’re reaching.
Brooks problem isn’t mental, it’s a lack of skill and a inept club propping him up as a saviour and blowing smoke up his ass.
