Fainu is Galvin's direct replacement. I was not suggesting this kid replaces Galvin.
When you lose one, everyone goes up a spot unless you buy a direct replacement. So as you point out, we add depth lower down and promote next man up or go to market.
you've simply misunderstood my point that's all.

Could be waiting on Luai to arrive and have him in the photos with new sponsor , Richo , Benji , , I don’t know anything but I feel Richo would have one locked in ready to go , training shirts are not to big issue , they can swap them out once Luai arrives

Bloody hell our club is soooo stupid.
Without any official notification this leads to them being targeted by unfair treatment by the player association etc. Imagine this is picked up by the media. The immediate response by player and manager is ‘I’m supposed to be going back to the Tigers but I’m not on in the official squad list so I’m not sure what they are trying to say there whilst I still have a contract’.

The club, for everything it does wrong, wouldn't do something like leaving Bateman off the squad list unless news of him moving on is close to being revealed.
I never had an issue with Bateman. But, if he didn't want to be here, didn't get on with Benji etc- it's best for all parties to move on. 2 roster spots to fill. Sione Fainu is most likely. Terrell May perhaps? Obviously Kobe Hetherington is a possibility. Toby Rudolph.
If the club can move on Naden, Staines, Doueihi or Sullivan, 3 of those 4 forwards (Fainu, May, Hetherington, Rudolph)- whatever the combination- makes the club look quite competitive.

Well, whoever put this together is either on the grog or an idiot: Turuva and Luke L are listed as Fullbacks, Samuela as a Prop, and Skelton as a Centre! Bud and our multimillion $$ marquee player are both listed as 5/8s. There is no player shown as halfback! How bloody hard is it to get things done right the first time?

Back row an issue with or without Bateman to be fair. However he would.have probably been better than another rookie.
It's more likely we see Seyfarth there. At this stage Richos apple out of a tree is going to need to be a bloody big apple.

Tumuth has apparently activated his clause and is staying ... at this point anyway.
