Geeze Penrith can spot a good player. I got the impression he was reluctant after we sacked the kiwi coach. He’s an Oceanic games athlete. His mother played footy in NZ side. Takes his performance seriously.

Cameron Ciraldo's year 1 with the Dogs sucked balls so in that respect we aren't doing much worse. While we didn't score a shit tin of points if you could not see the vast improvement in our attacking structures over the year then I'm not sure what you were watching. Go back and have a listen the the season wrap by the boys on the WTF poddy and you will note that this is supported by the stats.

Benji and the coaching staff failing to impart knowledge is simply bullshit. There was clear evidence, when we got the right bounce of the ball, that we could stick with and execute the gameplan. Problem is that we were outmuscled/out enthused across the park at critical times in most games.

Was it good enough - shit no - but we were playing kids against men and our highly paid senior players weren't performing. We have a significanly improved roster and have added to the coaching staff. Again, not the guy we would have liked to see selected, but someone with experience though. Hodgo doesn't have huge runs on the board but he has had plenty of exposure to different systems. Between him, Morris and Benji there should be enough nouse to improve what we have.

If Benji and co can't start to move the needle in the right direction in 25 Richo will need to make a tough decision; but that is what he is paid for. Holding the kids to account for their fitness on return for pre-season is a great start and shows that the coaching staff are serious about standards.!

Mate , you know how he fixed thier defence . He got them fit as , and mentally strong . When you’re fit and firing , mental lapses become less and less , you’re where you need to be easier , and when the inevitable attrition sets in , you’re able to recover quicker .
Defence is all about being patient , reading numbers , and controlling the ruck to not allow disadvantages and quick play the balls. All fitness related .
A big thing is getting Bula to really spray the boys who aren’t getting to thier assignments quick enough .
I think luai will help a long way with this . At the very least relaying the messages sent in defence , by Bula .

Gee u don’t read really well do u , I said he had signed luai , turuva , and Skelton , and bird and hunt , what my post was about, where is the workhorse forwards that we need , u bend everything to make it about something else , YES sack him and benji , is that what u wanted me to say , but I want 2-3 more forwards to stop us from getting number 4 wooden spoon .

Benji has been poor so far.
These breaches if real are a good step forward. Hope he keeps moving in that direction.
