Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Wouldn't be surprised if he stays at Roosters either? He's still on contract with them and may think he's a chance of going to market for more coin next season.
Won’t stay at Roosters , he is a good player and when Good players get tapped they just go to another club , no issue , but when you are like some we have at Tigers , Naden , Sullivan , Feledy , Matta , Tumeth , you dig in as nobody wants that calibre of player as they are not NRL quality
Sad but true ,

Agree , Gould is a shonky , sneaky bugga , you check for your watch if you shake his hand
He’s already made his play mate . The only thing that could negate it , is if the Papenhuyzen/ Melbourne meeting today results in paps staying with them and signing today . Otherwise that situation will drag on long enough for us to grab May.

our own Lachie Galvin. Gus has been wooing him publicly for 6 months now

Saw the same thing written here on the Fainus....

Gus has the best young half in the comp coming through - Only a year or 2 behind Galvin. He'll be bought through correctly though... They won't fit both kids in with the Quality they have around them.

Dogs won't be able to offer the same money as us or Parra, they will go hard for Paps instead.

It's Tigers and Eels , Parra have cash and the spots. They would be a serious contender for the signature.

Personally think Gus has his eye more on Leo Thompson. They will be looking at 3 strong purchases being Paps, Thompson and our own Lachie Galvin. Gus has been wooing him publicly for 6 months now.
Thompson's brother just signed with Newcastle. Don't think he will be going anywhere.

isn’t Jack Williams their RCG replacement?

I can’t get a read on whether Parramatta are in for him. the only ‘journalist’ that’s made note of their apparent interest is Brandon Smith. nothing from anyone else.
No he plays back row/ lock/ bench. They still need a starting prop.

Doesn't matter if it's in the media or not.

Don't think that's an option. The roosters don't tap you on the shoulder saying your free to leave now if they want you to stick around.
He'd be sacrificing 200k to stay too so any increase he may get us offset by earning less in 2025

NRL Market Watch: Sydney Roosters forward Terrell May on verge of signing with Wests Tigers
After being given permission to explore the open market by the Roosters, Terrell May is on the verge of locking in his new home with another Sydney NRL club.

The Wests Tigers are on the verge of landing another huge signing with Sydney Roosters forward Terrell May expected to join the club.

May was given permission by the Roosters to explore his options on the open market and immediately attracted interest from the Tigers, St George Illawarra and the Bulldogs.

It is understood the Bulldogs withdrew their interest at the weekend, leaving the Tigers in the box seat to sign May given his close association with star recruit Jarome Luai.

May and Luai toured England recently with the Samoan team and it is understood Luai has been working in the background to help secure May’s signature.

Tigers coach Benji Marshall pitched his plans for May to the Samoan prop late last week and it is understood chief executive Shane Richardson tabled a lucrative deal, which is expected to hold sway over the Dragons.
