OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

Generally I agree but I think you can add a few extra things like home invasions, murder or attempted, etc, federal crime and deprivation of liberties kind of stuff.
Other than that, do it behind closed doors and don’t tweet or instaface it.
Unless he’s important if kilos of coke I don’t care.
lol if a footy player is depriving your liberties then we have bigger fish to fry I think . I just meant the usual level of holier than thou meathead footy player bad stuff . Not Joseph Fritzel level …

I couldn’t care less outside of domestic abuse , paedophillia , and rape .
If he’s on the nose beers celebrating a tigers win in a private hotel room .
Whatever ! Don’t get caught . He’s got 3 girls with him . Whatever ! Make sure you have consent , and don’t video it !
Outside of the 3 I mentioned , I honestly couldn’t care less about about what these guys do . People feigning outrage , when LM gets caught snorting coke on video .seriously who cares , outside of give him a 1 match ban so we don’t have to play him .
Mostly agree. These guys are paid to play football, not be role models. There are some other considerations though - is a guy's attitude bad for culture? can he lead other guys astray? are off-field habits getting in the way of on field performance?

On the flip side, it is in players interests to have a public identity and be perceived as a positive role model. Not least for the TPAs, post footy career opportunities and the likelihood of clubs picking them up as a "culture" buy.

Richo and Benji. Both are excellent at selling the dream.
While that may be the original catalyst, there has to be something else?
We have been desperately trying to find a lead domino, someone players love to follow, someone who is always in the game regardless of the scoreboard, and consistently produces something. I think recruiting got a whole lot easier since the signing of Luai.

It’s all because of Luai. People are deluding themselves if they think it’s due to anyone else. He’s a personality and player other players want to play with. I think it bodes well for retaining Galvin quite frankly.

I think it’s telling half the story to imply it’s all Luai . He didn’t hire himself , and the reality is he’s the leader the club had to convince in the first place to influence the rest .
Clearly he’s bought in to the vision . And now the others are following .
There’s going to be a huge awakening on the edges when some of them get lazy this year .
The sprays luai can give are notorious. I’m not sure how an AD will go with his lazy half arsed efforts at times . You’d be able to hear the abuse from 2 suburbs away .

Mate, there are 1.2 million reasons that got Luai here, That’s not to say he isn’t invested in the vision, but it took massive overs to get him here. Overs that were worth it, because he has magnetism.

Sure but it nearly all the cases they have come for a chat and walked away impressed with “the vision”.

Is $1.2m “massive” overs for a SOO level half? He’d have to be worth at least seven figures on that alone. There’s been several others who didn’t want a bar of us no matter what the offer.

I never watch the Rorters, haven't seen May play. Can someone post his physical metrics, performance stats, highlights video etc?
Terrell is tall timber. 193cm and 108kg. he averages around 55-60 minutes a game, but can play longer minutes if need be.

he's got a very high workrate. averages around 12 hitups a game and has the fourth highest tackle efficiency percentage in the entire competition, behind Payne Haas, Martin Taupau and Isaah Yeo.

he offloaded 38 times in 27 games last year, outlining his ability to create second phase play, and has an excellent passing game for a man his size, evidenced in some pretty incredible highlights.

he's not really a tackle breaking type, but his tendency to offload does alleviate this. his average carry of 8 metres is probably the only thing that needs work, but I attribute that to playing high minutes.

Exactly. But Richo & Benji sold him a vision, despite us being a shambles at the time. Fans were revolting.

It’s the power of men who can influence.

Not so much now after the year he had, carrying the Panthers on his back while the chin was out. It was definitely overs when he signed a year ago.

No offence,
But he just won't get those sort of stats playing with us....

I shudder when I look at his offloads, With all that ability - Who's he feeding here?
Our side is lucky to have a bloke within passing distance any time an offload is on.

do your homework. Wests Tigers ranked sixth for offloads in the entire league in 2024.

Fair Play..... Just numbers though - Aren't they...
Will be a bit different offloading to a fullback at full tilt through the middle,
Than to a lumbering forward who's out of position.

Boy, have we missed a leader on the field for such a long time.

I completely agree that Bula's got work to do on his support play but we're clearly getting the ball away and creating second phase. that's the start of it. Terrell increases our capacity to do so.
