OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

Boy, have we missed a leader on the field for such a long time.
Let’s not undermine API who’s been busting a gut since he got here, and doing his best to drag the team along with him.
Maybe he’s just not a talker, which you need, at times, but he certainly leads by example.
He’s become a bit of a forgotten man but with some new guys around him, it could free him up somewhat in 25. Let’s hope so!

He has gone of the boil with his attack this year , I put it down to him doing to much defence, he seems to be in 3-4 tackles every set , our blugger pack needs to pick up there game and take the pressure of api , then spi can become a danger out of dummy 1/2 again

I don't watch many Roosters games during the season so I watched a few replays to get a closer look at May.

He's even better than his stats suggest. I cannot figure out why the Roosters would move him on, even if they are making space. Strong ball runner, good in defence and his passing game is very good. Unless there is something the Roosters know that we don't, he's going to be awesome for us.

I'm bewildered by the criticism of Api. Yes he frustrated me at times last year with some of the stuff he did, but in my opinion it was blatantly clear he was simply trying too hard. He took on the burden or the team and tried to carry it.

Some imbeciles (yes imbeciles) want to defend Bateman claiming he tried too hard that's why he sucks, but they don't give the same latitude to the guy who is clearly trying his heart out every game.

I guess it also shows that the glitz and glamour isnt always what it seems from an Instagram post.
Hope the young man plays well for us.
Also, I’m not sure what sort of car he’s driving, but it looks like it would be worth a mint. Brave man showing that thing off in Mounty County.

Can someone here please confirm what car he is driving. I hope its a Hyundai Mazda or Toyota. If GNR is right... its kind of scary - a little

Mate, there are 1.2 million reasons that got Luai here, That’s not to say he isn’t invested in the vision, but it took massive overs to get him here. Overs that were worth it, because he has magnetism.
Massive overs? Yes I would agree if he contracted to play for Willoughby Wombats. Not the case here. High price yes. If you want to know what massive overs is have a look at what players are offered to play in the Middle East in Football. When you consider price consider the whole picture ie what you get for it. Considering the changes for 25 and even more so 2026 in one aspect alone. I believe maybe a bargain price if not a steal! I am sure there are other clubs that had made offers are probably regretting what was put on the table. Anyway the fruits will be seen truly in 2026 & 2027!!! Great times ahead for Tiger Fans and the Club. We will enjoy!

They were unimpressed with his view on footy that he expressed in a podcast or something, from a roosters bloke semi in the know. I think they're morons and the
issue of not being able to beat Melbourne and Penrith has them chasing at shadows. Although we all see them as successful they are feeling a lot of pressure because of their lack of success when it counts.

You talking money. Money does not equal success. Would you agree?

Api is the only Top shelf player we had in 2024.

I won't lampoon him, We should critique him.
Did Api do too much? Could that stifle our halves a little like Jason T criticised Farah?
Api is awesome, as Farah is awesome. Heck if there is one reason to watch the WT it is Api.

2025, I hope we see Api start to step into a more background role. I would like to see Da Silva start in a game or two. Give him a bit more game time. Fully expect Api to remain a tiger till he retires, really hope he does. But it should be in a similar way Jake Friend could alternate between Lock/Hooker/Bench for QLD allowing Harry Grant to shine. I don't see Api having Jake Friend muscle, but a quick moving lock could be a part of Api's game.

^Naturally swap TDS with Latu Fainu. We are going to have more of a competition for first grade spots.

Bateman, clearly isn't doing anything near Api's effort and his lackluster performance is on him and the Tigers recruitment team.

I agree, I think Robbo could be under pressure so he could be mixing it up to save his bacon?
We don’t know what a “ pursuit of excellence “ looks like because we haven’t seen it up close at Tigers.

Seems like the whole world is forgetting the video where Roosters players
were (more than a little obviously) doing the wrong thing.
One of them was recently released for seemingly no reason, and the other is now on the chopping block as well....

I think if Smith wasn't injured - He'd be gone already....
