Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Right second row. Options are bateman, porter, jack bird maybe. Right centre is doueihi, faataape, or bird. Horrid. Barely first graders now
I wouldn't have named any of them at right sr or centre for next yr in our current squad. Jack Bird perhaps although see him at lock

They were sold a VISION by Benji and Richo.
What is now in place (off the paddock). What we have planned (on the paddock).
And where we aiming to be!
And now they have the runs on board to achieve that vision.
Which will continue into 2026. It isn't over yet.
Thanks for clarifying.

Yeah at the centre of excellence the Cafe that's apart of the building
What are you a Barista or a stalka, either way kudos on the intel.
Hopefully you make a great coffee, but I’m not a prima Donna about where my info comes from, so Keep it up.

The only really bad move from richo was the five year 800k offer to Stefano. Those dollars and length don't make sense to me given the way he has played up until this point.

Glad he at least rejected it. Be interesting to see if that move works out for him.

As for the tigers, excellent recruitment in areas of weakness. I'd still like to see two hardworking defensive backrowers found somewhere. Our biggest issue remains workrate and defensive strength. You can have flash new players but they need to be hungry to tackle and make efforts plays.

My bench would be as below, but Bateman at second row is a big if.

14. Latu Fainu
15. Jack Bird
16. Royce Hunt
17. Alex Seyfarth
The No 14 is the hardest call. Latu is the obvious call, covers nearly every position and has skill and vision, but TDS is a player I doubt will be happy to run around for the Magpies for 90% of the season. Bottom line you can carry both on the bench. I guess injuries and suspension will probably make the call easier, but I would hate to see TDS move for lack of opportunities

I really like Seyfarth but at this stage i don't think he is a starter but a great man on the bench
He needs to seriously improve his discipline and his defense in order to be a starting player. To much jumping out of the line and creating overlaps for the attacking team. His lateral movement is poor and often leaves his half isolated in defense.

Needs a big offseason to improve his lateral movement and decision making in the defensive line.

I don't like predicting teams that much but

1. Bula
2. Skelton
3. To'a
4. Olam
5. Turuva
6. Galvin
7. Luai
8. May
9. Koroisau
10. Klemmer
11. Bateman
12. S. Fainu
13. Bird

14. L. Fainu
15. Pole
16. Hunt
17. Seyfarth
Mines similar.

Turuva centre
I’m tipping Luke L has a big pre-season and goes to wing.
To’a to KOE

Probably start Pole at lock and Bird to bench but either way works.

I think you start Latu as he’s proven a valuable back up in that Manly game last year. Probably switch them a bit based on the opposition and how many minutes Api is playing week to week.

I'll chuck in the Doueihi extension, it was too early and not needed imo.
